Drive from Kathmandu to Jagat via Besisahar. 8-9 hours (B/L/D)
Jagat - The journey from Kathmandu to Jagat via Besisahar offers a scenic drive through Nepal’s diverse landscapes. Departing from Kathmandu, the road trip transitions from bustling urban areas to tranquil countryside. The Annapurna Circuit Trek, featuring the Throng La Pass, takes adventurers through the captivating trails north of the Annapurna Himalayas. This journey showcases the stunning natural and cultural splendor of Nepal. The trek circles around Mt. Annapurna (8091m), the tenth highest peak in the world. Along the way, trekkers can immerse themselves in the cultures of the Gurung, Thakali, and Tibetan communities. Additionally, the rich biodiversity of the Annapurna Conservation Area adds to the trek’s allure. The route also includes the Throng La Pass (5416m) and the Muktinath Temple, among other notable landmarks.
The trek commences with a walk along the hillsides of the Marsayangdi River, passing through several Magar villages to reach Chamje. The trail gently ascends to Dharapani, then continues through Danakyu, heading west to Chame. As the journey progresses, the trail enters the Pisang region and ascends to Upper Pisang, eventually leading through the Manang Valley.
