Excellent, do it without hesitation! - Everything perfect this tour, do it without hesitation! In Nagarkot we were lucky enough to be able to see a clear view of the Himalayas despite being Monzon (June) time, and Bhaktapur is simply impressive, a city of the 1700s... the Subash guide as well as very professional and know everything even helped me taking photos and being flexible at all times. The truth we had a spectacular time

Fun time in Bhaktapur - We had a great time visiting Bhaktapur. We tried authentic Nepalese food, purchased some art from a very cute art school, and learned all about the area. The guide and driver were both great as well

Private tour well worth booking - So glad we decided to go with a private tour. Our guide, Subash, was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the cultural and religious meanings behind so many of the sights we took in throughout the day. Grateful to learn about the Newari people, Hindu gods, and Buddhist practices, among many other topics about Nepal. Our driver was also very careful and reliable. It was a packed, joyful experience.

A culturally enriching day - This tour company is really outstanding. They reponded to our personalized requests and created unforgettable memories for us. Our guide, Subash, was amazing. He picked us two up at the appointed time in our hotel and before we even got in the car laid out the tour plan. On the way to Bhaktapur he told us a lot about the religious sites we would see that day. Once in Bhaktapur he took us way off what seemed to be the normal tour route into a lot of little backstreets, explaining what (and who) we we saw. For example, he explained what different colored tilak (marks on forehead) meant. At the first temple Subash explained a lot of the iconography and pointed out important things to notice. He patiently answered our questions, and was really good at understanding what we wanted out of the day. We liked Subash's guiding style so much we booked another custom tour with him around Nagarkot and back to Kathmandu the next day. That was an equally great day.

Fun trip!!! - We (group of four) really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Shankar is very knowledgeable and fun. He taught us lots of history of the places and we had plenty of time taking pictures and enjoy the place. The mountain view and sunset was beautiful and it was a fun ride too. Both the drivers and the guide were accommodating and helpful. The van was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Excellent Guide and Amazing Heritage Sites - The manager, Bharat, from Breakfree, who communicated with me to plan a tailored tour plan was amazingly attentive and quick to respond. He was transparent about the rate, provided clear information, and also reassured us that if we had a last minute change, he could also try his best to accommodate. But our guide, Deepak, really made our trip the highlight of our Kathmandu stay! He was not only knowledgeable about the tour sites, but just very insightful about the Nepali history, culture, and social issues. Deepak patiently answered our questions, engaged in a lively discussion about the sites we visited, which we really appreciated. The Nagarkot viewing can be a hit or miss, since you wouldn’t be able to see Himalaya very clearly in the monsoon season. But we still enjoyed being out in the nature and taking in fresh air while watching the sunrise. We enjoyed Bhaktapur durbar square a lot, especially because we were able to go there early in the morning to enjoy the quietness of the streets and avoid crowds of tourists, which can get overwhelming. Deepak also patiently explained to us and guided us through the sensitive subject matter around the cremation ceremony of Pashupatinath Temple. We learned so much — thank you, Deepak! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour as a group and would likely contact Breakfree again if we are back in Kathmandu.

Amazing and rich tour of the local life, nature, and cultural heritage - Me and my friend did a tour for seeing sunrise in Nagarkot and walking around the morning life of the locals in Bhaktapur. Even though we couldn't see the clear sunrise due to the morning rain, the scenery of Kathmandu Valley from Nagarkot was amazing! Dipesh was a wonderful tour guide! He is a guide with 15 years of experience, and he was great at customizing our needs. He was also a great photographer - all the photos that he took for us are great! He very kindly answered all our small questions about local's everyday life, and he was very knowledgeable about Nepal's history and culture. He even offered us some small local snacks and tea for rich experience. It was the most unforgettable tour in Kathmandu!

Must do tour!! - Guide was just amazing!! We learnt so much. Trip to Nagarkot was worthwhile. Seeing the country side with some great photo stops on the way including walking over a swing bridge. We didn't get to see the mountains but the views were so nice. Bhaktapur was so interesting. Could spend days roaming the streets in this old city. Cool old architecture. Just adored this place.

An encore tour, which is still so amazing! - After my previous tour with the tour guide Subash in Kathmandu, we booked another tour again for Nagarkot, and Bhaktapur, again led by Subash. It’s of course another amazing journey! I was so impressed with Subash's knowledge and enthusiasm during the tour that I immediately joined this subsequent tour to Nagarkot and Bhaktapur. Subash's passion for the history and culture of Nepal is truly infectious, and he made both tours incredibly informative and engaging. We were a group of "slow tourists," but he was incredibly patient and accommodating to our pace. I would also like to extend my thanks to our driver. His professionalism and safe driving skills were outstanding. Thank you for providing such a wonderful and memorable experience. I will highly recommend your company and especially Subash to anyone planning a trip to Nepal.

Lots to Learn Here - I enjoyed the Bhaktapur and Nagarkot day tour and did learn about the area and its Hindu history. While it's a great place to visit, please be aware of the heavy motorcycle traffic near and around Bhaktapur. The exhaust fumes can get overwhelming for some. I brought a mask along and glad I did.
