Manaslu - The adventure begins with a bus ride along the Prithvi Highway from Kathmandu. A pleasant journey on a paved road leads to Dhading Bensi, from where the road ascends to Gola Bhanjyang and then descends to Ankhu Khola. At Arughat, the Budhi Gandaki River is crossed, and the drive continues to Sotikhola. The journey extends for two more hours to reach Machhakhola. This ten-hour drive offers picturesque villages, rivers, terraced farms, and stunning views of Mount Manaslu and Ganesh. Overnight stay in Machhakhola.
Trek to Jagat (1410m./3990ft.) -07 hours /22 km.
Jagat - After breakfast, preparations are made for the trek to Jagat. The trek begins along the Budhi Gandaki River and ascends through dense Sal forests. The trail leads to Tatopani, known for its natural hot springs, where a dip can be enjoyed. The trek continues along the Budhi Gandaki to reach Jagat. Overnight stay in Jagat.
Trek to Deng (1960m./6430ft.) -08 hours/22 km.
Manaslu - With permits approved, the trek to Deng begins. The journey starts through dense tropical forests and continues alongside the Budhi Gandaki River. This part of the trail is home to rare wildlife. The trek proceeds through the forests of the Manaslu region, passing villages like Bhatti Khola and Philim. The bamboo forest over Budhi Gandaki is crossed to reach Deng. Overnight stay in Deng.
Trek to Namrung (2660m./7527ft.)-05 hours /12km.
Manaslu - From Deng, a suspension bridge is crossed, and the trek continues through uneven trails leading to Bihi Phedi. The journey continues to Ghap, where the trail is prone to dry landslides. After crossing this zone, several Magar villages are passed to reach Namrung. Overnight stay in Namrung.
Trek to Lho Gaon (3100m./10230ft.) -04 hours/10 km.
Manaslu - As altitude is gained, changes in vegetation and culture become noticeable. The trek from Namrung enters Tibetan cultural areas, passing through Mani walls and stone houses. Beautiful views of mountains like Mt Manaslu (8163m) are visible. After four hours of trekking, Lho is reached. Overnight stay in Lho.
Trek to Sama Gaon (3530m./9989ft.)-06 hours/14 km.
Manaslu - After breakfast in Lho, the trek towards Sama Gaon begins. The trail passes through beautiful pine and rhododendron forests, with breathtaking views of Mt. Manaslu (8163m) throughout. The trek is challenging, with altitude gain. After about five hours, Sama Gaon is reached. Overnight stay in Sama Gaon.

Manaslu - Proper rest is essential when trekking to higher altitudes. A rest day is taken in Sama Gaon. After breakfast, the village is explored, and interactions with villagers occur. A hike to Pung Gyan Gompa offers beautiful views of Manaslu and surrounding mountains. In the evening, local interactions and food tasting are enjoyed. Overnight stay in Sama Gaon.
Trek to Samdo (3780m./12402ft.) -04 hours/12km.
Manaslu - After a rest day and breakfast in Sama Gaon, the trek resumes. The journey begins through pine forests, which gradually become sparser. Vegetation disappears, and the land becomes barren. The trek leads to a remote part of the trail, with Mt. Manaslu (8163m) as a constant companion. The trek lasts about 4 hours along the reduced Budhi Gandaki River. Overnight stay in Samdo.
Head to Dharmashala (4200m./13780ft.) -05 hours/12km.
Manaslu - This day is significant as the trek heads west with views of Naike and Pangbuche peaks. After breakfast in Samdo, a suspension bridge is crossed, and the uneven, rocky trail is followed. Beautiful views of the Manaslu and Himal Chuli ranges are visible en route to Dharmashala. After five hours of trekking, Dharmashala is reached. Overnight stay in Dharmashala.
Trek to Bimthang (4200m./7218ft.) -08 hours/18km.
Manaslu - The trek continues through one of the most challenging and exciting trails. The journey traverses the barren and remote Manaslu region, offering stunning views of Mt. Manaslu (8163m), the world’s eighth-highest mountain. The trail ascends to the top of Larkya La Pass (5160m) across rough and snowy paths. From the top, views of Larkya, Mansiri, Cheo, and Himlung Himal ranges can be enjoyed. The descent from the pass offers panoramic views of mountains and glaciers. Overnight stay in Bimthang.
Trek to Dharapani (1992m./6535ft.) – 07 hours/16km.
Dharapani - The final day of the trek begins with breakfast in Bimthang, followed by a trek to Dharapani. Today’s trek is more comfortable compared to previous days. The descent passes through pine and rhododendron forests of the Manaslu region, with beautiful views of snow-capped mountains along the way. Overnight stay in Dharapani.
Drive to Besisahar ( 840m./2772ft.) -04 hours/51km. - Drive to Kathmandu ( 1290m./4273ft.) -05 hours/160km.
Besisahar - After breakfast in Dharapani, a jeep ride to Besisahar begins. The four-hour drive passes through beautiful villages and hills, offering views of terraced fields and typical Nepali houses. After about 3 hours, Besisahar is reached, and a bus to Kathmandu is boarded. The drive from Besisahar offers splendid views of paddy fields and beautiful settlements. After about an hour, the Prithvi Highway is joined, and the drive continues alongside the Trishuli River for about four hours. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel is arranged.
