Unforgettable experience with Alpine Ramble! - Namaste Future Trekkers! A friend and I did the Everest Base Camp trek with Alpine Rambles and it was truly incredible. We were picked up from the airport with garlands of marigolds. Dil (the owner) and Sujal (our guide) gave us an amazing welcome and explained the trip in detail at our hotel. There was quite a lot of backlog of flights to Lukla from bad weather just before we arrived and Sujal worked so hard to get us onto a flight and to try and keep up with our itinerary. It was also my birthday on the trip and he went to so much extra effort to secure a specially made cake for me at our teahouse that evening - such a special moment for me! We were in a larger group and he was so accommodating to everyone's different paces and monitoring how we were feeling with regards to the altitude, a couple of people in the group did get quite ill and Sujal dealt with it all like a pro. So much effort went into making us have a great time, especially considering the city had been in turmoil only weeks before with riots and social media black outs. Thank you Sujal! A trip we will never forget. Ps. Take more paracetamol thank you think you need! The altitude headaches are real.

Excellent experience from arrival in Kathmandu to the end of the trek. Couldn’t recommend this team enough!!! - The whole experience with Dil, the owner and Amer and Dhower, my guide and porter, was amazing. Met at the airport, stayed in Kathmandu. Flights to Lukla and then the 12 day trek to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar and the return. I couldn’t fault the experience. So attentive and very organised. The briefing for the day ahead, sorting food, snacks and meals, making sure you are feeling well, checking for signs of altitude sickness. The hiking was hard, this trip is not for the casual walker. You need to be in reasonable shape. Over 5000m is serious business, 80 mile round trip, temperatures down to -25 Celsius. But the scenery is like nothing else on earth, you literally stand at the foot of the tallest thing on earth and stare in wonder. If you’re after the activity holiday of a lifetime then do this trek and I wholeheartedly recommend doing it with Alpine Ramble, Dil and his team are amazing. Thanks guys!!

Alpine Ramble are excellent - I have just completed the EBC trek with my two sons aged 17 and 15. We booked with alpine ramble and had an excellent experience. The guide “Laxman” was exceptional and made travel for my teenage boys easy. He was supportive, friendly and had great banter with the boys the entire trip. I can’t speak highly enough of the experience he created. We also had excellent porters who went above and beyond and came on acclimatisation walks and walked with us the majority of the trek, making good conservation. Overall the trek and experience from airport pick up to drop off has been top notch.

Couldn't have chose a better company for the hike. - I've just come back from such a great hike to everest. I did the 11 day itinerary solo with just my guide Ram and no porter. I honestly couldn't thank Ram enough for the help on the trek, he made it effortless despite the amount of hiking. From having any piece of equipment I need like the sleeping bag and down jacket provided to going above and beyond throughout the hike. For example carrying extra weight of mine because of my shoulder problems without any complaints. Dil also made the pre hike week go super smooth, helped with any questions and met before hand to give me a brief. I paid €1500 and everything was included which made it so worth it. Also early December is a really good time to go, just after peak season so things are still open but quiet so no where is too busy whilst seeing enough people to have a fun atmosphere in each accommodation. I honestly feel like with Alpine anyone could do this hike I saw people of all ages doing it and with the help I received I think it's super accessible (within reason it's still a 12 day hike). One thing i would say is not to overpack, i bought way too much stuff and didnt use half of it. Overall its been a great experience and would recommend Alpine Ramble to anyone trying this trek.

Incredibly experienced professional and trustworthy team - I came back to Nepal once again and called Alpine Ramble Treks to manage the trek for the two of us. This time, we embarked on a short 14-day trek to Everest Base Camp only. It was quite a bit more crowded than three years ago, but it remains beautiful. The manager of Alpine Ramble Treks, Dil Gurung, is an incredibly experienced professional whom I trust for any organisational request I might have. From mountain excursions to city tours and country adventures, he has it all covered—with simplicity and high efficiency. Once again we had a fantastic mountain guide - this time it was Basanta, accompanied by a young porter, Sunil. We spent 16 days together with these excellent professionals, enjoying their company and the fun they brought. Thank you, guys, for making our Nepalese and Himalayan experience amazing! I would recommend you anytime and will look no further when I return to Nepal. Cheers!

Unforgettable Everest Trek; Thanks to Alpine Ramble & Our Guide Saugat - From the moment we landed in Kathmandu to the final flight out of Lukla, our 14 day journey with Alpine Ramble felt not just well organized, but personally looked after. Saugat guided us every step of the way and made sure nothing was left to chance. Right from Day 1 he welcomed us, answered our many questions about altitude, equipment, acclimatisation, and what the next day’s trail would look like. He didn’t just tell us “we’ll do this”; he explained why we’d walk a little slower, which peaks we were heading towards, and pointed them out as we went. At Syangboche viewpoint, as the late afternoon light hit the snow-peaks, he paused, turned us around and said: “That is Lhotse, that ridge belongs to Nuptsé, and beyond is the shoulder of Mount Everest.” It felt like he turned the landscape into a living story. Accommodations along the trail can be hit or miss, but Alpine Ramble had clearly built excellent relationships. Every lodge felt comfortable (for the altitude), was clean, and Saugat made sure we had rooms as good as the location allowed at our budget. On our rest day in Namche he even ensured we got a slightly larger room since he knew I’d been battling a mild headache the previous night and could use the extra comfort to recover. Food and nutrition are so critical at high altitude and again, Saugat and the Alpine Ramble team nailed it. At each tea house or restaurant, he pre-checked the menu, asked for extra vegetables or lentils when needed, and guided us to drink more fluids. He quietly reminded us: “Slow down, sip water, eat something every 2 hours.” When I was reluctant to try the Yak cheese momo, he encouraged me to have it once and made sure there was also fruit afterward. On the tougher days, he carried small snacks and always had extra chocolate or nuts at hand for emergencies. The trekking schedule was balanced: plenty of walking to cover ground, but also built-in rest and acclimatisation. On the day we reached Kala Patthar at dawn, Saugat woke us earlier than usual, measured that golden sunrise on the horizon and pointed out the panorama; so worth the early hour. I truly felt safe with him leading: he monitored our pacing, asked regularly how we were feeling, and adjusted the pace when one of our group felt altitude tired. Overall, the teamwork of Alpine Ramble combined with Saugat’s personal care turned this trek into something far beyond “a checklist” of reaching base camp. It became a genuine adventure, personal, safe, memorable. If you’re planning a 14-day Everest Base Camp trek and want a guide who explains the peaks, watches your back, sorts your accommodation, keeps your nutrition on track; I can’t recommend Alpine Ramble (and Saugat) highly enough. Thank you, Saugat, and thank you, Alpine Ramble for the journey of a lifetime.

I would do it again with Alpine Ramble Trek - Going to the Himalayas is one of the best trips I've ever had. The majestic beauty of the highest mountains in the world is something that you have to experience yourself since no media can do it justice. Just being there felt as a great privilege and I left it with a feeling of gratitude and awe. However, none of it would've been possible without a great company of a friend I did it with and without a great help and support of Alpine Ramble Treks who organized it all for us. For a person who is not a hiker or a mountaineer I had my doubts about the whole thing but they disappeared on the very first day we met our guide Basanta who proved to be a great professional with a wide knowledge of the mountain, great enthusiasm, a wonderful character and a constant source of positivity, patience and good humor. He was able to answer all our questions and always explained everything waiting for us on the trek. Since I was a slower part of the duo, he made sure that we both had a chance to follow our own pace and walk to our abilities. He had a great help here from our porter Sunil who would stay behind me at the most difficult sections of the way. It' was amazing to know that the owner of the company Mr. Dil was informed of our progress and kept track of it. Looking back, I must say that their hard work and professionalism made the trek so much easier and more enjoyable and I feel grateful to have had a chance to spend time in the most amazing place with the most amazing people my friend Tomislav, our guide. Basanta, our porter Sunil and all under a watchful eye of Mr. Dil, the magician of organisation's. Thank you so much and hope to see you again.

Great tour with friends and family - Tour was great with amazing views of the nepal mountains. Accomodations all arranged, so no worries there. Food was simple, in all of the 12 days the menu was the same with certain accomodations being bad (e.g. lukla hotel). Some choice in restaurants for example namche bazaar would have been better. Nevertheless a great experience to share with friends and family. Special thanks to Tek, Bopal and Orzun
