Kathmandu Heritage Sightseeing (1,300m/4,264ft)

Kathmandu - Embark on a private full-day guided tour of Nepal’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Visit the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, the serene Swayambhunath Stupa, and the majestic Boudhanath Stupa. Our knowledgeable guide will provide insights into the cultural, historical, and spiritual importance of these iconic landmarks.

Drive to Chitwan (415m/1,362ft)

Chitwan National Park - After breakfast, set off on a wildlife adventure to Chitwan. The 5-6 hour drive via the Mugling-Narayanghat road offers scenic views and a vibrant atmosphere of the plains. Upon arrival in Chitwan, check in to the resort.

After lunch, enjoy a village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village to learn about the Tharu lifestyle. Visit the National Park visitor’s center to discover more about the park’s history and wildlife, and enjoy a sunset view from the bank of the Rapti River. In the evening, experience the Tharu Cultural Dance Program, a highlight of your visit to Chitwan. The Tharus, in their colorful traditional costumes, offer a captivating performance.

Wildlife Activities at Chitwan (415m/1,362ft)

Chitwan National Park - Spend the day exploring the wilderness of Chitwan with a full day of jungle activities. Enjoy a canoe ride along the Rapti River for bird watching and spotting two rare species of crocodiles: the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial. Visit the Elephant Breeding Center on the way back. After lunch, embark on a jeep safari inside Chitwan National Park, where you may see four types of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkeys, leopards, sloth bears, and possibly the Royal Bengal Tiger. Encounter many other smaller mammals that call Chitwan home.

Drive back to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

Kathmandu - After breakfast, retrace the scenic route back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be escorted to the hotel to relax and refresh.

In the evening, a representative from K.J. Adventures will pick you up for a farewell dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
