Fascinating place to see the 'red elephants' and the maneless lions - Tsavo East is the best place to visit when you have limited time to spend on a safari, with a high possibility of sighting quite a variety of wildlife. You can easily access it from Mombasa, Watamu or Malindi. Sights and sceneries at Tsavo East are just breathtaking, starting with its vast, open plains extending over the horizon; the Mudanda rock; where you would not miss to see prides of lions or the elusive leopard; the Galana river, where you will often find crocodiles basking on the banks, among others. The abundance of wildlife here has made the park to be simply known as the 'theatre of the wild'.
