• Mount Kenya National Park - 7:00 am: Guests are picked up from their Nairobi hotel or residence and driven to Nanyuki town, the capital of Laikipia County. Currently, Nanyuki serves as a base for the Kenya Air Force and a training area for the British Army. It remains a significant town for Mount Kenya climbers, a supply center for farms, and is close to ranches and game park conservancies in the area. From Nanyuki Town, the journey continues towards Mount Kenya to the Sirimon gate.
  10:30 am: After completing park entry formalities at the Sirimon Gate, a 3½-hour hike begins through forest, bamboo, rosewood, and heather zones to Old Moses camp. The ascent gains 740m, aiding in acclimatization. The forest is home to numerous animal and bird species.
  1:30 pm: A short hike leads to a view of two Mount Kenya peaks – Nelion and Batian, situated next to each other.
  2:00 pm: After taking pictures, guests descend to Old Moses camp for a picnic lunch.
  3:00 pm: Following lunch, the descent continues to Sirimon gate, where the driver awaits to return to Nairobi.
  7:00 pm: Arrival back in Nairobi.

Begin the journey from your Nairobi hotel or residence at 6:00 AM, heading southeast towards Narumoru town. The drive takes approximately 4 hours, including at least one stop for a restroom break. Continue towards the Narumoru Gate, located 18 km from Narumoru town, where you will sign in at an elevation of 2400 meters. Proceed further to the Met Station at 3095 meters to commence a 3-hour hike reaching up to 3800 meters.

Experience the unique afro-alpine moorland, dense bamboo groves, and lush vegetation. Encounter wildlife such as buffaloes, elephants, bushbucks, and a variety of bird species, along with rosewood and heather zones. This is the most popular route to ascend Mount Kenya, offering the fastest ascent from the west and some of the most breathtaking views of Batian at 5199 meters and Nelion at 5099 meters. After the hike, descend back to the Met Station and transfer back to Nairobi, arriving between 5 to 6 PM. A packed lunch is provided. The package includes park fees, transportation, a guide, and lunch, making it ideal for adventure enthusiasts.
