Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo West National Park
Tsavo National Park West - Guests are picked up from their hotel or the airport and driven to Tsavo West National Park via the Mombasa Nairobi Trans-African highway, entering through the Bachuma Gate. Arrival is scheduled in time for lunch, followed by check-in and an evening game viewing drive. Tsavo West is a favored safari destination known for its stunning landscapes, Mzima Springs, diverse wildlife, excellent road network, and rhino sanctuary. Return to the lodge for a delightful dinner and overnight stay.
Tsavo West to Tsavo East Park
Tsavo National Park East - After an early breakfast, guests check out and enjoy a brief game drive en route as they head to Tsavo East National Park. Arrival is planned in time for lunch, followed by check-in and an evening game viewing drive. The park is renowned as one of the world’s biodiversity strongholds, famous for its abundant wildlife, including the iconic ‘Big Five’: lion, black rhino, cape buffalo, elephant, and leopard. It also hosts a wide variety of bird species such as the crowned crane, black kite, and sacred ibis. Tsavo East National Park features flat, dry plains traversed by the Galana River, with notable landmarks like the Yatta Plateau and Lugard Falls.
Tsavo East to Mombasa
Mombasa - After an early breakfast, guests check out and embark on a morning game drive to capture the sunrise and possibly witness the big cats, particularly lions, either hunting or enjoying a recent kill. Later, the journey continues to Mombasa via the Voi Mombasa highway. Upon arrival, guests are dropped off at their hotel or the airport, concluding the tour.
