A very relaxing and informative tour that provides gorgeous views and even a few surprises along the way - We went for the Misty Fjords tour on the Melinda Leigh and had a wonderful time! The weather was beautiful, water was calm, crew was knowledgeable and very competent, and the scenery was spectacular. The captain went out of his way to spot and provide viewing of humpback whales that were feeding (and breaching) near one of the shorelines. This tour line is very respectful of the marine wildlife, so it eased our minds to know we could trust them to care about their well-being. Our captain/pilot was very skilled, as he navigated even the trickiest areas with ease. We highly recommend this trip!

Unforgettable Experience and Spectacular Views - I will never forget this experience. I have lived in Ketchikan for a couple of years now, but I haven't really explored around the island much or boated around. The Misty Fjords tour was INCREDIBLE. The views were absolutely stunning, of course, but we also saw ORCAS! It's been a bucket list item of mine to see killer whales in the wild and not only did we see several, but the captain stopped the boat so we could watch and freak out and really soak in what we were seeing. There were also several pods of porpoises racing behind the boat, which was so much fun. The boat itself was clean and spacious, as well as not having a bad seat in the house. We were able to either sit down inside (upstairs or down) or go out into the open air to enjoy the scenery. The Misty Fjords themselves were majestic and truly spectacular. You haven't seen the color green until you've seen the forest around the falls. It was honestly one of the best experiences of my life and one I tell everyone about! Side note: the staff was knowledgeable, kind, and answered any and all questions we had (even if they were kind of dumb, haha). I would love to do this tour again. 11/10!

An A+ in our books. - My daughter and I went to Misty Fjords on the 12:00 tour 8/11/25. It was a relaxing , amazing and wonder filled experience. Although it was a little rainy, it added to the Misty effect and we completely enjoyed it. We were able to see a humpback whale, seals and eagles. Even without the wildlife, the views were breathtaking. The crew was great and the guide was knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this. A memory we can pleasantly share forever.

Would 10000% do it again - The boat ride was so relaxing, got to see the amazing views of waterfalls and mountains. Our tour was lucky enough to see a family of orcas, truly magical.

Beautiful day on the water - Great staff, friendly service Saw a humpback breach, 3 cubs with their mama bear, eagles, and seals We enjoyed every minute and would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Ketchikan

Alaska on the coast - It was very fun we got to see some seals and sea lions and got to see a side of alaska i hadn't seen before!!! There was a pretty waterfall and a very cool dormant volcano where you can have your wedding done which i thought would have been fun if I wasn't already married
