Perast - Perast is a stunning Baroque town in Montenegro. Once a hub for sailors, it continues to dazzle with its magnificent buildings, charming churches, and picturesque waterfront.
Perast boasts a rich history dating back to the 13th century. As a center for boaters, captains, and sailors, the town flourished and became prosperous in the 16th century. A stroll through the old town reveals many splendid villas and magnificent buildings, beautifully restored.
Within the old town’s narrow streets, there are approximately 16 different churches. The most renowned is the Church of St. Nicholas, a major attraction with its 55-meter-high bell tower, the tallest structure in the Bay. Visitors can also explore Bujovic Palace, an architectural gem located on the sea promenade, and the only palace in town open for interior visits.

Our Lady of the Rocks - After enjoying free time in Perast, visitors can explore the island of Our Lady of the Rocks, featuring a church built in the 17th century. This is the only man-made island in the Adriatic, created by sinking old ships and placing stones around a small crag.
The church is home to a revered 15th-century icon of the Virgin Mary, known as Our Lady of the Rocks, and an altar crafted from Carrara marble by Genovese sculptor Antonio Capelano. Due to its significance, the church’s interior is adorned with numerous art gifts over time.
Behind the church, a small museum is dedicated to Perast’s history. The courtyard in front is called the “Place of Reconciliation.” Today, this small island church serves as a cultural center for the Catholics of Boka.
