The meeting point will be either at the hotel front desk or outside near the entrance to the apartments. Once all participants are gathered, the journey to Auschwitz will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau - An English-guided tour of the Auschwitz and Birkenau Museum is conducted by a licensed museum guide. (Headphones are provided.) The visit to the camps lasts around 3.5 hours and includes tours of two Nazi camps: Auschwitz and Birkenau.
- Brzezinka - After a brief break of up to 15 minutes following the first camp visit, participants will proceed to the second part of the tour – Birkenau (Auschwitz II), located just a few minutes away. This was the largest section of the Nazi concentration and extermination complex, designed for the mass extermination of European Jews.
The guide will continue the poignant tour through Brzezinka (Birkenau), constructed in 1941 under the orders of Heinrich Himmler, commander of the SS. The camp was intended to imprison up to 90,000 individuals under appalling and inhumane conditions.
During the visit, participants will learn about the tragic stories of prisoners, brutal selections upon arrival, and inhumane medical experiments conducted by Nazi doctors, including Josef Mengele. The tour also covers the liberation of Auschwitz by soldiers of the 60th Army of the First Ukrainian Front on January 27, 1945 – a moment that marked the end of unimaginable suffering for the remaining prisoners.
- Krakow’s Rynek Glowny Central Square - After the tour, participants will be transported back to Krakow, either to their accommodation or any other destination within the city.
