Absolutely amazing - Absolutely amazing experience, we had Dawid and he was absolutely amazing. He told us all about the different history of Zakopane and the different mountains. Truly a bucket list moment, when we next come to Krakow, I'll definitely be booking again with these.

Great trip - Had a great trip to Zakopane. Tom was a was good guide who provided various facts about Zakopane and Poland in general. I also received recommendations for where to eat which was very good (Karczma Zapiecek on the Main Street).

Good trip, enjoyed it. - Good trip, was a bonus to have really good weather. Nice to experience the polish cheese and see the wooden homes. The mountains were a sight to see, enjoyed it. Lots of stalls at Zakopane, might not be everyone’s choice.

Zakopane and Tatra beautiful, but ... - Travelled from Krakow on Sat 31st. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and the scenery on the way to Zakopane was stunning and postcard-pretty. The one downer was the power cut that shut down the funicular just as I was at the head of the queue! Most of our group didn't get to go up, and the one's who did had to be rescued. Obviously not our tour guide's fault, and the whole town was without power for a period, but that should have been the highlight of the outing.

Disappointing Zakopane - Very disappointed with Zakopane itself - reason the whole place is full of stalls selling tat like fridge magnets and girlie wrist beads. The tour started well and pickup on time. Unfortunatly our driver/guide (Staszek) struggled with his English. Only 15mins stop in Gogolowka (the most beautiful wooden housed village) with little info from guide. In Zakopand we were led to the centre of the main carpark and told "to the right is the High Street and to the left is the funicular railway and your tickets for the railway I just posted on your phone - you have 3hrs, will see you back here". That was it - no info nothing. The High street was full of stalls selling tat and cheeses. At the top of the funicular (Gubalowka) was the sme - stall after stall selling tat. Although the view from up there was very nice. During the walkabout I only saw 2 ladies and 1 man dressed in the local attire we were told and expected to see. On the journey home we stopped at a little church hidden in a forest clearing which was beautiful and quaint. So generally a very disappointing day not made better by a poor guide.
