• Angkor Wat - Begin the early tour at 4:30 am to witness the sunrise at the stunning Angkor Wat. Afterwards, enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant in the Angkor area.

In the morning, explore Angkor Wat, Cambodia’s ancient temple city, renowned as one of the wonders of the oriental world. It is celebrated for its exquisite decorative details and architectural style. The awe-inspiring ruins stand as a testament to the remarkable achievements of Southeast Asia’s greatest civilization. Angkor Wat is a representation of the universe according to Hindu mythology, featuring Mount Meru, surrounded by continents and oceans. Its extraordinary bas-reliefs depict various Khmer epics and myths. The five iconic towers of Angkor Wat rise into the sky, forming a geometric arrangement of numerous galleries, adorned with beliefs and stone images of celestial Apsara dancers, along with portals, chambers, and courtyards.

• Ta Prohm Temple - Continue to visit Ta Prohm Temple, a serene, sprawling monastic complex that is only partially cleared of jungle overgrowth. It offers some of the best “tree-in-temple” photo opportunities at the Angkor Complex.

• The Victory Gate - In the afternoon, after lunch, travel to the Victory Gate of Angkor Thom, one of the five gates guarding the ancient city of Angkor Thom. It is slightly less preserved than the South Gate and was built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century, serving as one of the five holy Buddhist gateways to Angkor Thom.
• Terrace of the Elephants - Continue to visit the Terrace of the Elephants, part of the walled city of Angkor Thom, a ruined temple complex in Cambodia. The terrace was used by Angkor’s King Jayavarman VII as a platform to view his victorious returning army.
• Phimeanakas - Walk past the Phimeanakas temple, which in Khmer (Prasat Phimean Akas) means celestial temple. It is located in the middle of the old Royal Palace, aligned with King Jayavarman VII’s Victory Gate and to the west side of the Terrace of Elephants.
• Baphuon Temple - Continue to Baphuon Temple near the Phimeanakas temple. Baphuon is a beautiful 11th-century “temple-mountain” with steep stairs leading visitors to a terrace that offers one of the best views in the Angkor Archaeological Park. Archaeologists believe this pyramid-style temple, located within the city of Angkor Thom, was likely among the most impressive of the Angkor temples in its time.
• Bayon Temple - Conclude the day tour at Bayon Temple. The Bayon Temple is one of the more famous, popular, and beautiful structures in the Angkor Wat Archaeological Park.

Begin your adventure early with a sunrise visit to Angkor Wat, followed by a tour of Ta Prohm temple. After lunch, proceed to the Victory Gate of Angkor Thom, passing through the parkland behind the Terrace of the Elephants. Stroll past Phimeanakas temple and Bapuon temple, concluding the tour at Bayon temple.

• This tour is operated on full private basis with English-speaking guide. Other languages are on request / subject to availability and supplementary charges may apply.
• The entrance pass to enter the Angkor Archaeological Site is not included during this tour. Guests are responsible to purchase the pass, ranging from one day up to seven day entry passes at the main gate into Angkor. The applicable fees are charged in US Dollars only. The entrance pass gives access to all sights in and around Angkor and should be visible at all times. Children under the age of 12 years old are free of charge for entry; a valid passport must be presented at the booth as proof otherwise normal prices will be levied.
• Due to the nature of this tour, we regret to inform you that this excursion is not suitable for wheelchair users.
• Some of the Angkor sights temples and palaces (such as the Baphuon) uphold a very strict dress code: it is essential that you dress appropriately during this excursion by wearing clothes that cover shoulders and fall below the knees. Customers wearing shirts with obscene and disrespectful prints and pictures and brightly-coloured clothing may be refused entrance.
