a MUST-DO if in Kyoto! - My partner and I were lucky enough to do this together with just the two of us and our teachers; Sherry and Shin (the cofounder of Musoshin!). They were both so unbelievably kind and funny, but both so knowledgable and helpful in the ramen making process! They were super accommodating and it was definitely the highlight of our Kyoto trip, could not recommend this enough! Plus the ramen is the best I’ve ever had!

Highly recommended experience for anyone who wants to learn and eat delicious - The course could have gone half an hour longer to have more time for painting, but it was a very nice and delicious experience that I can only recommend to anyone.

Don’t miss out! - My daughter and I had a wonderful experience here! The food, staff and ramen Michelin class were top notch. We even got to paint our own spoons! Don’t pass on this. Great for families, solo travelers or couples.

Incredible activity - Vegetarian/vegan friendly ramen - Had a lovely experience cooking ramen with partner and the food was absolutely incredible! My partner is vegetarian and it was really nice finding a ramen place that catered to vegetarians and vegans. The spoon painting was a lovely touch aswell!

Really fun class! - what a fun experience and the ramen was the best i've had in Japan. It is really hard to find so give yourself lots of time but it is worth the effort. Bowl and spoon paint was a lot of fun and will be treasured at home.

The. ‘art’ of Ramen - Makoto and Mickey are charming informative hosts. Painting a souvenir is fun, and learning how to make their award winning ramen is a blast. They even took video of us, a wonderful keepsake and memory. The ramen is delicious, geared for carnivores or vegetarian. This is a smile-for-2-hours experience

Unfortunately, not worth the money - I hate to leave a bad review, but I want others to hear another perspective. The instructors were very nice, but based on reading the other reviews I thought we'd be taught by the owners. Instead, it was 2 young men. I thought we would be painting a ramen spoon which we could use at home, but it was a much larger hot pot spoon. Overall, the class felt kind of gimmicky. I was on the fence whether I wanted to spend so much money on this class for my family, but I had taken cooking classes in other countries and loved it. This was disappointing and in my opinion not worth the money. On the positive side, the location is accessed inside a beautiful alley, the instructors were nice and the meat broth was very good.
