Delightful pairing of wine and food - Absolutely stunning location, beautiful wines and delicious food. We were served countless courses and even on a table of big eaters food was being sent back because we couldn’t manage it all!

A lovely visit - We really enjoyed our lunch at the Morgado do Quintão. We visited in February so were seated indoors in the very lovely main room. We were able to walk around outside and then eat indoors. We met a nice couple to share lunch with as everyone eats at a communal table. The staff were very friendly and nice to talk to. The food was traditional portuguese food but you can let them know if you don't eat a particular type of food. It was good to try the local wine with the food. We enjoyed this experience

Wine, warmth, welcomes - The shared table with excellent food & wine tasting, combined with a knowledgeable and courteous hostess in a beautiful historic farmhouse setting, is a must do to have a quintessential Portuguese experience of the agricultural Algarve.

It was great - Marco was a great host and tour guide. The wines were much better than I had anticipated and food was delicious.

Very good! Amazing. - Incredible place, great food and impeccable hospitality. We chose the harmonized snack beneath the olive tree of hundreds of years! What a vibe! Very nice, the wines were excellent and the food delicious. At the end we also took a tour of the property with explanations from Alice. It was worth it

Beautiful wine from a beautiful estate - Honestly the best experience I’ve ever had. Beautiful views, incredible food and the long tables meant we could chat to many people from all over the world that came here.
The wines themselves were stunning, a variety of favours and the tour given post lunch was so lovely and gave us so much information.
The ladies that gave us the lunch pairing and information about the vineyard were very approachable and aided us in choosing a lovely bottle to stay and drink in the vineyard after the lunch had ended.
I can only remember one of the ladies names as Candy or Sandy but the other lady was absolutely lovely - a few glasses of wine, the gorgeous views and the beautiful sunshine has caused my memory to leave me slightly.
Nonetheless, an absolutely beautiful experience. Me and my partner left with 2 bottles of the Palhete, one drank on the beautiful property and one back at the hotel. We were offered sun cream and hats as we enjoyed the wine by the pool. The service could not be faulted and felt like a genuinely beautiful experience with chickens roaming around and almond trees behind us while we sipped our wine taking in the views.
Neither of us have a fault with this vineyard or Farmers Table wine pairing lunch, and would recommend it to anyone (whether you know your wines that well or not - we are definitely not experts)
10/10 recommend and wish all the best to those on the property.

Worth it! - This is totally worth it! Food, wine, host, and location are incredible. We booked a group lunch, tour, and tasting - it ended up being a private lunch on the winery grounds! Our host was so nice and knowledgeable and we each got three huge glasses of local organic wine. BOOK THIS!

Beautiful domain, too expensive - Food was tasty, wine was moderate and too little, price quality was overpriced, staff was friendly but hasty, very brief explanation about wine estate

Disappointing - This was our second visit and unfortunately it will be our last.
The food was the basically the same as the previous visit, with a main course of pork, salad and potatoes. Odd really because the wines we were served were described as being perfect with seafood and fish. Hmmm.
Then the wine. We received a tiny amount of 3 different wines, a white, followed by a red, then a rose. All served in the same glass.
To put the quantity in perspective, the gentleman pouring managed to serve 23 people with 3 bottles each time and still had wine left. That equates to around 90ml each per wine. So we each had in total about a third of a bottle to accompany a 3 course meal.
Considering we had paid €63 each for the ‘experience’ that is poor value. We can have a 3 course meal with fresh fish and a bottle of wine for €100 for two people at a really good beach restaurant.
On the previous visit the gentleman hosting shared a lot about this history of the Quinta. This time we got nothing just some basic info on the grapes used to make each wine.
The setting is gorgeous, and the potential is enormous, but there is too much competition on the Algarve for this to be somewhere that we would recommend.
The saving grace was Ricardo who was fascinating, friendly and fun. The rest of the staff were invisible.

Beautiful winery but unfortunately that was it already - We are a group of 4 women who attend a wine tasting every year on holiday. Here it was really a wonderful location but that was it already:( You are not very hospitable or personal, you are quickly handled. Instead of the 4 wines we were served only 3, the quantity was also just a small tasting sip and you didn't get a gift. All 3 wines were poured into the same glass, nothing was told about the food or how the wine goes with it. The tour through the vineyards was a short walk through not very well maintained vineyards (there was garbage in between), the cellar we unfortunately did not get to see. Buying a bottle of wine and drinking on the spot is more expensive than taking the wine with you, which shows you may not have people with you for long. It's more like mass handling. Since we have already attended a lot of tastings which were much more personal, we were very disappointed this year as it was also one of the most expensive we have visited so far.
