Lovely way to spend a hot afternoon - Definitely a wine experience as opposed to a full on winery tour. Here you get to experience 4 wines from the vineyard and eat (plenty) of meat, bread and cheese. We sat on a long bench table with 2 other groups under a 2000 year old olive tree. It was a lovely way to spend an hour hearing about the wines. There is a short tour of the vineyards themselves and a chance to buy wine and other locally produced items. All in all, very nice, friendly afternoon.
Please note I recommend you plan to stay on and continue drinking in the grounds as it’s quite a lovely place to spend more time than we planned.

Great experience - We booked this wine tasting last minute and it was a great experience. Most wineries in the Algarve are all fully booked and make it so difficult to book an appointment in short notice so we were very happy to know that Morgado do Quintao accepted us. We were 2 families with kids. The kids didn't pay, which is a bonus since many other places charge half price for kids. They have a lovely place outdoors and i would definitely go back.

Fantastic! - It was a fantastic wine tasting and tour! We enjoyed the wines and snacks and the interesting tour. We got a bit wiser about wines and were able to hang around afterwards and have another drink.

Great way to spend an afternoon with delicious wine. - What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! Our family did the premium tasting and it was very enjoyable. They set you up with a very nice place setting under their 2,000 olive tree. It’s a very photogenic property and I’m sure the seated dinners there must be really nice. The wines we tasted were delicious as was the charcuterie plate. We got a brief tour of the vineyards after the tasting where we learned about their full wine making process as well. We ended up buying 3 bottles.

Wonderful afternoon of wine and great hosting. - Great afternoon at the winery. Tasted 2 whites, a rose and a red wine, all superb! Went to see the vines and heard about the wine making process. Very enjoyable.

Excellent Mediterranean wine tasting - Went either a group of 5, absolutely blown away by the setting. A lovely seating arrangement in the shadow of the olive trees, weather was also perfect. Our host Carly for the wine tasting was absolutely amazing and not only talked us thorough the wines but took us on an impromptu tour of the vineyards which was very informative and immersive. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area as it’s a classic Mediterranean wine tasting and they make sure to fill up your glass with the amazing wines they have to offer.

Wonderful - Lovely experience, just the right amount of time for the talk and your (1.5 hours) with the option to purchase some wine after and sit and drink it for another while. It’s a long drive up to the house once you get to the gate and we were a little confused about where to go but beautiful surroundings and lovely hosts. Would highly recommend (and great wine!)

Winery tour and tasting - The winery tour and tasting was fantastic! It was a special vibe, the service level was outstanding from the employees treating us at arrival and to the owner who gave us the tour of the vineyard. A wonderful experience was had by all. The wine was great! So much so we bought 6 bottles. We are looking forward to visiting the winery again!

What a special experience!!! - Wow- just wow!!! We found this winery from a review on Tik Tok and since it was close by we decided to stop and check it out
What a special experience!! Ricardo and Carla were the most amazing hosts of this special property! We had an amazing wine tasting and enjoyed both the indoors and outdoors of this beautiful estate. We saw the beautiful sunset skiis and tasted delicious wine and food while the most interesting convo with the hosts. Highly recommend a special experience that is more than “just an average wind tasting”! Thank you for the most memorable experience!! Tracy and Gerry

Disaster - What a disaster. The owner or management must have been on holidays. The two guys working there seemed disorganized and out to lunch. It was 40 minutes until they provided the first wine. The wines were not only poor but they pour you the cheapest ones. Our host knew basically nothing about wine. Zero info on vineyard and a few nuggets of misinformation. We ran so late he took us on a vineyard walk after dark when we could see nothing and demonstrated zero knowledge. Embarrassing. 42 Euros is the worst value is the Algarve. There saving grace was the other people on our “tour”(there is no tour) who were all lovely and equally mystified by such a crappy experience. The place has potential but avoid this place until they make big changes.
