In short: - Buses with malfunctioning interactive guides , buses that respected neither timetables nor stops .. all very rough , long waits and questionable organization . I honestly think you can do better at these rates.

Dissapointing and unnecessary attitude from bus driver. - Lovely tour but just very upset why did the bus driver not even stop properly and open the doors for us to get on at bus stop #9!! And we called for him to stop and open but just simply ignored us. Totally unnecessary. And no, the bus was not full, we could see many empty seats in both bottom and top platforms.

Shocking Company - Travelling with my elderly mother and my brother, we purchased the basic hop on/off tour. We had already independently been to Belem and just wanted to see a bit more on the other side (Blue Line) of where we were staying. Tickets were bought directly from the ticket office. We were offered no information as to where we should go, and it was chaos around the bus stops. Turns out that several different companies leave from the same place. You are hearded onto the busses, none too politely by completely disinterested staff. You then set off on what is supposed to be a SIGHTSEEING tour!!! Well, if you consider driving slowly through rundown areas on the equivalent of A-roads/motorways, then by all means, waste your money! The ONLY bit of actual sightseeing (and I use the term losely) was the Vasco Da Gama bridge. The 'tour' took close to two hours until the bus broke down by the zoo! We were left to find our own way back or opt to wait 30-50 minutes for the next tour bus to pass. This company is a horrendous tourist trap. Avoid like the plague! I expect the only reason they run this 'tour' is that it conveniently has its own stop by the cruise terminal. A £65 mistake which, regrettably left a bad taste after a super holiday in Lisbon.

To avoid!!! - 1- had to start every 25 minutes. We left after 1 hour. 2-was to be a shuttle bus that was to take us to point 1 but since the bus was full they decided to start the tour without Warn us and we left the bus at point 1 3- take a bus to continue the tour, which took about 5 minutes. 4- the bus was almost full we were sitting downstairs which we do not like and in addition we were separated. 5- very boring red line, no interest. 6- 1st and last time with Gray Line. I go continuous with the company Hop On Hop Off!!!

Horrible - The tour was in 4 languages so you got maybe one sentence about a place and then they moved on to another language. The 2 photo sites were pretty. The guide was monotone and so unengaged. At the monetary we weren't told how to get tickets and by the time we figured it out we had to leave. It turns out the church is free to enter but was under renovations which was also not shared with us at the time. The national Palace was not worth the time or money. All in all a very frustrating and unsatisfactory tour. I would avoid this tour.

Sightseeing with Gray Line not recommended! - We've all done routes. Audio accompaniment was not satisfactory: little informative, there were several repetitions on the routes, the narratives were often aborted by the stops and many connections did not work. We recommend switching to one of the other sight seeing companies!

BAD Ticketing policy by Company disappoints !!!! - I had high hopes for this tour as I have done GrayLine HOHF in The US. Reserving and paying was easy. I expected an Email with tickets that would be down loaded and stored on my mobile. I was WRONG. I had to down load an app which gave me my reservation code, I presented it at the ticket office where they printed a flimsy paper receipt with a QR code. We boarded a small bus easily but the roof wasn't retracted even in absence of rain, this restricted vision. The app easily allowed you to highlight the tour, however there was no notice prior to booking the tour that the route to Belem had 80% of the stops cancelled because of road closures on Sunday Due to the Lisbon Marathon. We did a shorter route first and planned the longer route to Belem in the afternoon even with the stop closures. Unfortunately I lost the flimsy paper ticket ( it was like a cheap corner store receipt). The attendant at the ticket office said Company policy was not to issue a replacement. I would have been more careful was I aware of this. When I asked why, she pointed to the notice on the wall behind her regarding the policy with a curt apology and no further explanation. I know she was just doing her job the policy wasn't hers This ticket issue should have been resolved easily with today's computer tech/apps where an electronic ticket is emailed to the purchaser thus lost tickets would not be an issue. I'm very disappointed with this company. Take a bus tour with another company NOT Grayline.

Never again - Worst hop on hop off tour ever. Bus completely outdated, sound on headphones only with noise, eternal waiting times once you have gotten off and the highlight on the blue lines: the 3 main stops (vasco de gamma) without previous not approached. Niiiiieeee wieder

Dont do Grayline for Lisbon city. - Poorly organised. Poor information. No service. No acceptance of responsibilty to customers. My headphone plug in didnt work. Bus stops poorly marked. The English commentary was condescending. Go with the other red bus group..more buses regularly.
