In short: - Buses with malfunctioning interactive guides , buses that respected neither timetables nor stops .. all very rough , long waits and questionable organization . I honestly think you can do better at these rates.

Interesting tour without guidance & information - The places visited are good but the tour guide was very average. She merely dropped us off at the tour site without following us and giving us much information. It is just like a public transportation.

Horrible - The tour was in 4 languages so you got maybe one sentence about a place and then they moved on to another language. The 2 photo sites were pretty. The guide was monotone and so unengaged. At the monetary we weren't told how to get tickets and by the time we figured it out we had to leave. It turns out the church is free to enter but was under renovations which was also not shared with us at the time. The national Palace was not worth the time or money. All in all a very frustrating and unsatisfactory tour. I would avoid this tour.

Sightseeing with Gray Line not recommended! - We've all done routes. Audio accompaniment was not satisfactory: little informative, there were several repetitions on the routes, the narratives were often aborted by the stops and many connections did not work. We recommend switching to one of the other sight seeing companies!

Disaster - Completely outdated, sound barely understandable, content of the text weak!!!, mostly just music, completely boring, fingers off, really not worth it; no service, just weak!!! Better explore the city differently; the worst hop on off tour ever!!!

BAD Ticketing policy by Company disappoints !!!! - I had high hopes for this tour as I have done GrayLine HOHF in The US. Reserving and paying was easy. I expected an Email with tickets that would be down loaded and stored on my mobile. I was WRONG. I had to down load an app which gave me my reservation code, I presented it at the ticket office where they printed a flimsy paper receipt with a QR code. We boarded a small bus easily but the roof wasn't retracted even in absence of rain, this restricted vision. The app easily allowed you to highlight the tour, however there was no notice prior to booking the tour that the route to Belem had 80% of the stops cancelled because of road closures on Sunday Due to the Lisbon Marathon. We did a shorter route first and planned the longer route to Belem in the afternoon even with the stop closures. Unfortunately I lost the flimsy paper ticket ( it was like a cheap corner store receipt). The attendant at the ticket office said Company policy was not to issue a replacement. I would have been more careful was I aware of this. When I asked why, she pointed to the notice on the wall behind her regarding the policy with a curt apology and no further explanation. I know she was just doing her job the policy wasn't hers This ticket issue should have been resolved easily with today's computer tech/apps where an electronic ticket is emailed to the purchaser thus lost tickets would not be an issue. I'm very disappointed with this company. Take a bus tour with another company NOT Grayline.

Never again - Worst hop on hop off tour ever. Bus completely outdated, sound on headphones only with noise, eternal waiting times once you have gotten off and the highlight on the blue lines: the 3 main stops (vasco de gamma) without previous not approached. Niiiiieeee wieder

Dont do Grayline for Lisbon city. - Poorly organised. Poor information. No service. No acceptance of responsibilty to customers. My headphone plug in didnt work. Bus stops poorly marked. The English commentary was condescending. Go with the other red bus group..more buses regularly.

Very Bad Tour - Do NOT take this tour!! We did the Red (Belem/Lisboa) tour. We have done many hop on hop off tours in other cities and enjoyed them…this was awful, a complete waste of time! With the rich history of both Lisbon and Portugal, there is plenty to talk about. There was really no significant information about the history of the city or Portugal. However the audio consisted largely of bad elevator music as we drove by apartment houses. When we did go by an actual point of interest almost no information was given other than the name of the POI and perhaps the year it was built. As an example, we came past a point on the river where it was stated many of the famous Portuguese explorers departed from….wow, very interesting tell me more…which ones? Maybe some information about some of those explorers? Maybe an interesting anecdote from their adventures….NO! Nothing more! The only thing worse than one of these Lisbon tours is 2! (ie do not get the 2 tour “deal” !!)

Wasted time - many problems. - Internet booking led to problems due to a system change. Two stops were not served. Information about this was only available in the app - 20 people waited for over an hour in vain for the bus. In summary, and after the problems were solved, there was hardly any time left for sightseeing. In the buses, the audio devices in the open area were barely legible. The traditional continuous music in the audio guide was too loud. You do have a 24-hour ticket - but the buses only run until around 6:30 p.m. An email to one of the addresses provided was not answered.
