• Kithulgala Water Rafting - Kitulgala Adventure Experience – Rafting + Waterfall Trek

Begin your adventure at your preferred time and head to Kitulgala, the adventure capital of Sri Lanka. Experience the thrill of white water rafting on the picturesque Kelani River, spanning approximately 5 km and featuring 5 major rapids and 4 minor rapids. This activity is suitable for individuals aged 10 and above, with modern rafts, comprehensive safety equipment, and a thorough safety briefing conducted by professional instructors prior to the ride.

Following the rafting experience, embark on a brief rainforest trek (around 1.5 km) to the Kataran-Oya waterfalls and explore 7 natural rock pools. Enjoy swimming in the refreshing, pristine waters and, if conditions permit, try the optional waterfall sliding with safety assistance.

Remember to bring: swimwear, a towel, and a change of clothes.

The driver will pick you up from your hotel in Kandy as early as possible, ideally around 8 am or earlier.

You will be transferred to Kitulgala via Hatton and Ginikastenna Road, which is approximately a 2-hour drive. Before embarking on the white water rafting adventure, there will be opportunities to enjoy the sights along the way and to sample local fruits and experience the local lifestyle.
