Madame Tussauds London - Madame Tussauds London
Madame Tussauds is a very famous wax museum worldwide. It is an enormous and crowded place. It is such a colourful place too. This museum is about the top celebrities. These people have wax figures there. Wax statues are a beautiful reality. (Marylebone Road, London NW1 5LR, England)
Actually, many people take photos and videos. I took photos with many famous singers, including Ariana Grande and Beyoncé. You can meet your favourite stars face to face. Also, you see loyalty to family. Of course it is wax :) If you like Star Wars and Marvel, you can visit this part too. Explore Chamber of Horrors is the best part for me. Because it is dangerous but wonderful.
On weekends, it is more crowded, so I think you can go on weekdays. You can go by underground and bus. You must book the ticket (£ 29 per person). You can call the staff for more information (+44 20 3467 3392). I booked my ticket in advance, so it is cheaper than buying at the museum gate. Outside foods and drinks are not permitted. However, you may eat fish and chips. Near the museum, there are some pretty nice and delicious restaurants. Toilets are clean and safe, but a little bit small.
I went there 6 months ago with my friends, as you see in the photos, I was absolutely happy and enjoyed myself. It was my first time visiting there. It is always nice to come back. Because it is an impressive place, I would like to come again!

Jam packed with people, felt like rush hour on the tube - Skip the line was a must, unfortunately there were just too many people in all at once your couldn’t enjoy the experience without being hurried along or wait for the impatient kids of others or big groups taking lots of photos

Overwhelming experience but definitely worth it - It was a nice experience. You get to skip the waiting lines and go straight up to the bar for a glass of champagne. Afterwards you enter Madame Tussauds through a door in the bar. Madame Tussauds is a great place to visit. However, it is really a sensory overload for people who are sensitive to sound and lights. There is very loud music; this in combinatie with all the flashy lights makes it an overwhelming experience for highly sensitive visitors. However, it is worth a visit. The wax statues are great to see, there is a little "train ride" and a movie in 4D.

Disappointing Experience at Madame Tussauds London - Lost Its Charm - I recently visited Madame Tussauds London after 25 years, and sadly, I left feeling disappointed. The experience was not what I remembered or expected. The classic wax figures that made this place iconic — such as Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, and Marilyn Monroe and many more — were nowhere to be found. These figures were central to the Madame Tussauds experience, and in their absence, I felt like the museum had lost its core idea.
Even our 14-year-old daughter was disappointed by the absence of the King of Pop. She was hoping to see his iconic figure, but it was missing. It made me realize that for young people today, learning about these legendary figures could be a great educational opportunity. They may not be as familiar with such icons, and showcasing them would help introduce younger generations to the cultural icons who shaped music and entertainment history.
Additionally, the inclusion of the 4D cinema and other attractions felt more like a theme park experience than a world-class museum. If I wanted rides and thrills, I'd head to Disneyland, not a wax museum. The overall vibe has shifted, and it seems that the focus is now more on entertainment and less on showcasing the iconic figures and immersive exhibits that initially made Madame Tussauds famous.
I understand that museums need to evolve, but the changes here seem to have lost the magic and uniqueness of the original concept. I can't help but feel that the essence of what made Madame Tussauds special is no longer there. I hope they reconsider bringing back the classic figures and focus more on what made them stand out in the first place, as it would be both nostalgic for longtime visitors and educational for younger audiences.
