Great Tour - Excellent introduction to Lucca, hitting all the highlights. Loved that we did not need to use the audio headsets. We don't usually participate in large group tours, but this one was perfect.

Perfect tour on arrival - This was the perfect tour on arrival in Lucca for the first time. Vittoria was passionate about educating the group about the history and the many things that make Lucca so special today. Our path through town was perfect to see all the important areas and was helpful afterwards to navigate the town alone.

Discover Luca's Secrets Guided Walking Tour - Super introduction to Lucca. A lot of ground and history covered in an enjoyable tour which lasted 2 hours. Forgotten guide's name but she was interesting and engaging.

Lucca exploration - Georgio was fantastic. Just enough info and insights on the main sites in Lucca without excess. He’s very personable and interactive with his group as well!

Just ok - On the scheduled day we had difficulty finding the meeting point. We clicked on the link in the listing but later figured out that link was actually for the ending point. There wasn’t a clickable link for the meeting point; you just had to read and then type into Google Maps. (Didn’t help it was pouring down rain so we were trying to find shelter too.). We communicated via Viator and finally found the meeting point. The tour guide then told us another tour guide didn’t show up so we should come back in 3 days. We agreed and asked her to send an updated confirmation. We never received an updated confirmation but it wasn’t a problem when we returned 3 days later. I can’t remember our guide’s name but he wasn’t very engaging. It felt like we walked around more than hearing historical or interesting information. (This could be because we had just come off a fabulous Florence walking tour, also booked through Viator, with a great guide!).

Avoid this tour - Avoid booking this tour. The tour operator was unresponsive when we tried to contact. There were too many people on the tour and the guide was impossible to hear. Spend more for a better tour with less people.
