Te Au Moana, which means the ocean tide, has long been a steady presence across Oceania, linking our islands, communities, and generations. Our Polynesian forebears navigated these ocean tides for centuries and held them in high regard for their life-giving qualities.

Bucket list item achieved - Exactly what I had hoped for ever since I was a kid imagining being able to be a part of a luau in Hawaii. Wonderful experience, plenty of food (and drinks :) ), friendly and personable staff, beautiful hula dancing, music and performing, and lovely (and educational) story telling and singing from the MC for the night. Certainly not cheap but totally worth it. I purchased standard seating and was worried that I might be disappointed with my view but I was not at all. Premium seating was not necessary to be able to fully enjoy and be close to the performance.

Amazing show and food - This was a great show . The talent was top notch . The food was really good and they even offered chicken tenders and fries for the kids . I would do this again and I highly recommend if you are in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Have attended many Luau’s... - Have attended many Luau’s on few islands. This one was by far the best. The entertainment added humor with crowd engagement. The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was better than expected for a buffet style meal.

Maui family vacation - Long walk from the parking garage to the luau. We had a great time. Food was pretty good but we loved the show the most! The performers were so talented!

Luau at Wailea Beach Resort - Beautiful setting. We had 12 of us; 8 adults; 1 child, and 2 infants. We were able to fit at one table with infants in Laos. Booster chairs available. Loved family style dining instead of buffet Plenty of food and drinks. Service all around was excellent

Based on other reviews,... - Based on other reviews, we arrived about 30 minutes early. It was a very hot day, around 95°. Because we were early, we secured, waiting spots in the shade of their beautiful Banyan tree; however, not everyone was so lucky, lining up on the sidewalk in the hot sunshine. We noticed that one perk of priority seating was that priority guests went ahead of the standard seating guests waiting in line.
When we were released to our assigned tables, we found that we literally had the table in the very back, placed, not on the turf, but instead on the paved walkway. Because of the heat of the day, this was somewhat uncomfortable. Further, there was not much of our breeze and the scant breeze that puffed through was blocked by the mound for the performers to be elevated.
Because we were in line early, we made it to the bar ahead of the initial crowd. If you arrive just on time, expect to stand in line at the bar for 15 minutes or so. There is no drink service at the standard tables so anticipate waiting in line each time you might need a drink. Because we were at the back we had an easy view of when the lines with thin out so that was helpful.
We had feared that the food being served family style might be awkward, but the group we were paired with was very polite and congenial. Also, it seems there were concerns from other reviewers about portions not being enough once other others took their share. Our server, multiple times, offered to bring us more of anything we might like. We actually had more than enough of every offered food so this wasn’t a problem. The quality of the food was good. We enjoyed the meal.
We found the show really informative, sharing different styles of dance and cultural information. Overall, this was an enjoyable experience.

Good - Food was not great. The public address system was very bad. I could not understand anything the master of ceremonies Lady was saying. The show was very good.

Booking should allow... - Booking should allow large families to sit together. We were asked to move after being seated. We declined and the families reaction tainted our experience.
