An unforgettable experience in Mazunte with an exceptional guide - We cannot recommend this experience enough. Our trip to Mazunte and the nearby beaches was unforgettable, and it was all thanks to Mario. He is incredibly knowledgeable—not only about the destinations, but also about the history, culture and unique vibe of each place. He took us to spectacular food places (the ceviche was honestly some of the best we’ve ever tasted, and we’re pretty picky), and each recommendation felt very well thought out. Besides, Mario is simply a great person to spend the day with—patient, friendly, easy to talk to and always willing to answer all our questions. You can tell that he is really passionate about what he does and that he cares about the people he guides. The tour is very well designed. Pick you up and drop you off at your accommodation, and for about 12 hours explore several beaches—Mazunte, San Agustinillo, Estacahuite and Zipolite. Each place has its own charm, and without it it would have been much harder to move around and enjoy everything to the fullest. We had “sea in the background” so the waves were quite strong and we couldn’t swim on most of the beaches (except Pantheon Beach, which was quieter). At first we were a little disappointed, but the truth did not detract from the experience. The beaches were still stunning, there were amazing places to relax, explore shops and eat delicious. We ended the day in Punta Cometa watching the sunset, and it was the perfect close. It’s a short, light hike to the top, but the views are absolutely spectacular—a truly magical and relaxing way to end the day. What stood out most was how attentive Mario was throughout and how passionate he is about supporting the local community—he also gave us great recommendations to continue exploring in Puerto Escondido. We have done many tours as experienced travelers, and rarely find anyone as special as Mario. Really, a jewel. Don't think twice. Book the tour now!

Crocodillies - Super calm and relaxing. Not rushed but there’s also a lot to learn and a lot to see. This was especially interesting for our group because we wanted to see crocs in their natural habitat and we definitely got it.

A fun time for all - This was an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Jaziel was so helpful and accommodating. He made this experience for alll of us a wonderful one. They made sure everything was accessible for my daughter to be able to enjoy it as well. If you’re questioning whether or not to do it or if you’re wondering if it might be possible due to mobility concerns; just do it. It’s worth it.
