Located just an hour away from Melbourne, the Yarra Valley is internationally acclaimed for its exceptional chardonnay, pinot noir, and sparkling wines, making it Victoria’s most esteemed wine region. This intimate group tour offers a picturesque journey through bushland, vineyards, and farmland as you travel from the city. During the tour, participants will visit four cellar doors, featuring boutique, mid-sized, and larger producers, providing a thorough sampling of the region’s finest offerings. The tour also includes a restaurant-quality main course at Yering Station, which is home to the Valley’s first vineyard, established in 1838.

The best winery tour. - Great experience. The best tour guide with complete knowledge about both the wineries in Yarra Valley, Wine making in general, and also of Melbourne and Yarra history. The wineries visited are the best I have tried, and most likely the best producers in Yarra.

Fine Wine, Great Time! - I cannot begin to describe what a fabulous day we had wine tasting in the Yarra Valley with Vinetrekker! It was a perfect day! Paul, our guide, picked us up at the hotel and his car was cool and comfortable. He gave us interesting commentary about the city of Melbourne as we headed to the Yarra area. He made a point to introduce everyone and to get all guests involved and mingling which was super fun! The wine tasting itself was amazing! We went to 4 wineries and had an amazing lunch overlooking a picturesque view. We had private rooms and it really felt like VIP treatment. The wines were plentiful and a bonus was the delicious cheeses we got to try! We tried maybe 25 wines all day and it was so much fun. He even sidetracked us to see some kangaroos. It was a perfect way to spend our last day in Melbourne!!!

Excellent quality wine tasting - Our driver and guide was punctual , friendly and very professional at his job. The 4 wineries we went to were stunning and the wine tasting fantastic with expert presentation from the host wineries. The lunch at one of the wineries was excellent. Overall fantastic and enjoyable experience

Above expectations! - Great day exploring Yarra valley and four wineries. Paul, our driver/guide, was wonderful in providing information on Melbourne, the valley, and wines. The wineries were nice and lunch was worth the stop. Only regret is having to buy a wine suitcase and several bottles of wine! Highly recommend.

Exceptional Experience even for the beginners - I had an amazing experience! Our guide Rob was extremely knowledgeable and extraordinarily kind and made it a point to tach us the history of the land we were on. All of the wineries we went to had a different character and vibe but at each place both my friend and I felt very taken care of as not super experienced wine drinkers. I would absolutely recommend this experience to any experienced wine drinkers and beginners looking to learn more about wine in the Yarra valley. I would rate this tour 15 stars if I could, but 5 will have to suffice!

Fun, informative, small group tour! - We had the most amazing time on this tour! There are a lot of options out there which made it hard to choose but the whole experience from start to end was brilliant thanks to Paul, our expert guide for the day! We stoped at four wineries which all had something a little different and the lunch at Yerring was outstanding. We had 8 people on our tour which was ideal, a lovely group to spend the day with. And the cheese paring at the start was a lovely addition and made 5 tasters of wine before 11am manageable ;) thank you so much Paul - would highly recommend this tour!

Great way to experience Yarra Valley - Excellent day out - Paul our driver handled the schedule really well so we never felt rushed, and managed to enjoy each of the stops on our tour. He even had a bunch of umbrellas to ward off the rain!
His local wine knowledge was invaluable and helped us to navigate the tastings to make sure we got the best of each winery.
Thoroughly recommend booking a tour with VineTrekker.

Amazing wines and cheese - A fabulous day was spent in the company of Paul who made our small group tour feel very welcome. We visited boutique vineyards, away from crowds, with fab wines, cheeses and tasty meal included. The journey in and around Yarra valley was amazing as he drove along the quieter roads with wonderful views. Thank you.
