This small group expedition takes you on a picturesque journey from Melbourne, passing through wilderness, wineries, and agricultural lands. The tour includes visits to 5 local wineries of varying sizes, offering an excellent representation of the Valley’s best produce.

Perfect day in the Yarra Valley - We had a really enjoyable day out on this small group wine tasting tour. Our guide and driver was Paul, who looked after the group very well and gave us lots of local information as we drove out of Melbourne to the beautiful Yarra Valley. The wine tastings were varied and enjoyable (favourite winery was Payten and Jones with a lovely host offering a great selection of wine and some vermouth too ), a great lunch and finally a delicious cheese and wine pairing.
We would definitely recommend this tour with Vinetrekker.

For wine lovers - Exciting day and the various wineries.
Good food, a lot of knowledge about wine and we got a good insight into the different wineries and their cultures.
I especially enjoyed the last two stops. Good quality at a good price

Excellent Melbourne wine day! - Lots of good wine to taste (often with extras not on the tasting lists), small independent producers, great guide, nice scenery. Highly recommended.

Your expectations will be exceeded!!!! - Paul provided our group with the most amazing incredible representation of what this world renowned wine has to offer. I’m a certified wine specialist through WSET, and came to Melbourne (from Canada) to bring life to my learning and experience the terroir of this region first hand. Paul chose his route carefully to allow us to visually see what makes this microclimate so special unique. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the valley and the wine scene and wine industry of this area. He chose his wineries carefully to showcase an array of what this region has to offer. The restaurant he took us to for lunch was exceptional with views that were as impressive as the food. Paul went out of his way to show us kangaroos which was a treat in and of itself. DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK THIS TOUR!!!! It was more expensive that some of the other tours but it was worth every penny. My only regret was that I didn’t experience Mornington Penisula with Paul as well - he offers a tour there too. Thank you so much Paul!!!!

Phenomenal experience, highly recommend!!!!! - One of the best wine tours I have done. The guide was excellent, knowledgeable, and engaging. The choose of vineyards was outstanding and the food top notch. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Enjoyed the half day... - Enjoyed the half day sanctuary with half day wine tour so much that we scheduled a full day wine tour 2 days later. Paul is a very personable and knowledgeable tour guide. Great experience.

Beautiful wine day with friends! - The Wineries were very unique and intimate which we appreciate. Paul our guide was fantastic and the tastings were divine. The food and snacks were an amazing bonus. Highly recommend
