Rafting in Potrerillos Valley
Potrerillos - Our adventure begins bright and early! Hotel pick-ups commence at 8:30 am, leading us to the base camp where the rafting journey will begin.
- Rafting & Zip Line Adventure: At the Mendoza River, a safety briefing will be conducted to familiarize everyone with the equipment. We will then navigate class 2 rapids. Following this, a 1400-meter zip line experience awaits, offering a unique perspective of Valle de Potrerillos and Cordón del Plata. (Duration: approximately 10 hours)
High Mountain Trekking - Aconcagua National Park
Potrerillos Dam - At around 7:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel in downtown Mendoza. We will head south and then west towards the Andes Mountains.
Our first stop will be at Potrerillos Lake, where breathtaking views of Cordón del Plata and the dam await.
Uspallata - Upon reaching Uspallata, we will make our initial stop. Here, we will encounter a pre-Hispanic settlement of the Huarpes aboriginal people, as well as the southernmost point of the Inca empire. Our journey continues to the remarkable Puente del Inca, a natural architectural marvel with hot springs.
Parque Provincial Aconcagua - We will proceed along Route 7 to the Aconcagua Viewpoint. Here, we will pause to capture photos of the highest mountain in the western hemisphere, standing at 6,900 meters above sea level, while still admiring the stunning Puente del Inca.
