Main points of interest, excellent Service; take care of the sun and heat - Excellent tour of the main points of interest of the City of Merida. Bus in good condition, friendly staff. I recommend preventing yourself with protection from the sun and heat, such as hat, umbrella, blocker.

Great overview of the city - Guided tour was Spanish only. People were great and the overview of the city was surprising. There are many sides to this city and we were happily exposed to a few of them on this tour. Don't miss this on your visit

Good way to see different parts of the City - This tour is a good way to see different parts of the city. It is in Spanish (which we knew when booking) so unfortunately we didn’t understand a lot of the audio, but if you followed the route on Google maps you could get the gist of it. We did both routes, each takes about 1.5 hrs, and to clarify, it is not a hop on, hop off bus. You board the bus in front of Catedral de San Ildefonso. There is a ticket person and he was very good in organizing the queue for boarding and ensuring everyone got their receipt.

Cute but not necessary - The bus makes two very similar rounds and you can never get off at the points of interest except at the cathedral and Paseo 60. All in Spanish. I, who had a problem with my leg, used it to get an idea.

Miscommunication and late! - Complete misinformation on timing and pick up. We cancelled it after over an hour wait. Cancelled via Viator. Then much later saw the bus- got on and paid through local company. Much less! But still would not recommend-

Bad, bad experience! - Very bad experience! The bus got a flat tire and we had to get off the bus several blocks away from the stop at Paseo 60 and walk back. They did not reimburse the cost of the tickets and neither offer transportation back to the bus stop! Shame!

Not recommended if you don't speak Spanish. - You would think that tourists would ride in a 'tourist bus'. Unfortunately, all the announcements were in Spanish - even though it was previously stated that they would also be explained in English. It was completely uninteresting and totally boring for us because we didn't understand a word. We could have taken one of the public buses for less money. NEVER AGAIN. (We have never experienced that in any other country). It's a real shame.
