Must do experience - This is a must do experience if you’re visiting Mexico City. I would recommend wearing something warm as you get there early on the morning.

It’s really worth it! Really pretty! - My friends and I from Chicago and this is definitely a highlight of this trip! The crew was really friendly and took good care of us. The view is magnificent!

Do not join this..... or you will regret.... - The organizer informed us at 8:29PM the night before the day of the flight that we would be picked up at 6am, which meant we would surely missed the sunrise and the risk of cancelling flights would also increase after sunrise. We soon contacted organizers via Viator and WhatsApp, but no one replied us before we went to bed..... We had no choice but to aboard the vehicle at 6am at the centre of CDMX. It took about 40minutes to arrive at Teotihuacan. However, the driver took us to the wrong balloon site, OMG....... The driver did not even know our balloon organizer.... Finally we arrived the Magic Balloon site at 7:10am and soon got notice of flight cancellation. The staff was willing to refund the price of Balloon Flight after charging us with an unbelievably high price (more than 1.5 x Uber price) for one-way transport from CDMX to Teotihuacan. We did not have breakfast there and did not take the return trip with the driver they hired (of course, these services are NOT free if we wanted them). Of course, we appreciated that they valued that passengers' safety is utmost important and understood the flight can be cancelled due to weather change. What makes us so furious is their communication and staff management. Also, as it was peak season, they intended to arrange large groups to the early flight and accommodate most people (higher chance to have nice weather in the early morning). Those smaller groups, like us (2 ppl), would be sacrificed and would be likely to be put into the flights in the late morning, which may have higher chance of strong wind and heavy fog. Thus cancelling flight in the late morning is more common, which organizer must know this well. I now recalled that we were NOT asked for passport verification during check-in and it was clear that the staff knew (before we arrived the site) our flight in late morning would surely be cancelled. Even they refunded the price of Balloon Flight, they easily made good fortune of charging people for high price of one-way transport to their Balloon site. Do NOT recommend!! NEVER join this tour!!! Better find other tour!!!
