a) Frenchman Valtee Daniel holds the record as the oldest person to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, achieving this feat at the age of 87. Annually, more than 20,000 individuals attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, with the journey typically taking between five to nine days, depending on daily climbing hours.
