Altezza is the bomb!! Wonderful experience. - Altezza Travel arranged everything. They did a fantastic job and all 14 of our group got to the top. Every step of the way was worth the effort as the roof of Africa was other-worldly. Everything we read on their website was true. You can rely on the information they provide and the support they give. Their team was exceptional, They made the difficult easy and all their crew cared about their hikers. It’s a tough walk and the altitude is not to be underestimated. I am 68 and it was mentally and physically challenging but I made it with Bosco and the team’s help. My tip? Start Diamox the day before you begin. Nevertheless, fantastic outcome and memories and emotions that live on. Altezza is the bomb!

Thank you for this unforgettable experience - We decided to take a private tour as we are not among the fastest. That was just the right decision. Exoud and Jonas have completely adjusted to us and have gone our pace. So 100% top taken care of from booking to farewell is already extraordinary. On the mountain Rama provided us with the kitchen troupe first class and left nothing to be desired. The campmaster has also always found a quiet place for the tents. It is not so easy to put into words how great the trip was without it sounding cheesy. Marvin advised us superbly in the preparation, and was also available for us at short notice during the trip. Thank you all, including those not mentioned by name, for this great trip. Our thoughts keep wandering back to the mountain. 100% recommended.

Kili Summit and Safari with Altezza- trip of a lifetime! - This trip was absolutely unforgettable. Altezza exceeded every expectation, and I can’t recommend them enough! It was me, my two sisters, and a friend tackling the 7 day Lemosho route to the summit of Kilimanjaro, followed by a 4 day safari, all perfectly arranged from start to finish by Altezza. Our awesome trip coordinator, Maria, was incredibly patient with my last-minute planning and was super helpful. From the moment we landed at JRO, everything ran seamlessly, from airport pickup to hotel check-in to gear rental. The climb itself was breathtaking, challenging, and super rewarding, but the true highlight was the team that supported us. Our Lead guides, Jafari and Lihiru, were absolute legends! Their professionalism, deep knowledge of the mountain, and uplifting energy made all the difference. We always felt safe, supported, and fully prepared thanks to their constant attention to our wellbeing. What really stood out was their ability to read the group and adapt plans thoughtfully whether it was adjusting the pace, offering encouragement, or giving each of us exactly what we needed to stay motivated. They struck the perfect balance between being serious when it mattered and keeping things light and fun. Our delightful ‘waiter’ Isack brought us morning coffee to our tents with a smile, greeted us on the trail with snacks and served up amazing dinners. Our chef, Laurance, blew us away meal after meal from pancakes to delicious stews and even pizza. Summit night was so special thanks to the extra care from Omari and Haruna who carried our packs and kept us going with so much heart. Huge love to the entire porter crew! Every single one of them was kind, hardworking, and so much fun to be around. Special shoutout to Adiel, the real MVP, who carried a whole toilet up the mountain! Reaching the summit was incredible, but it was this amazing crew that made the journey so meaningful. Saying goodbye was way harder than expected. After the trek, we transitioned straight into safari mode and again Altezza made it seamless. Ebenezer picked us up from Aishi-Machame and took us to the Grand Melia in Arusha, a beautiful hotel with gorgeous gardens and a spa for some much needed massages. Our safari went just as smooth and was a lot of fun. Our driver, Humphrey, was with us the whole time and kept us laughing and well fed while guiding us through three national parks where we saw tons of wildlife. The lodges were cozy and well-equipped with warm, welcoming staff and great food. One of the absolute highlights was the hot air balloon ride with Miracle Experience. It was so thoughtfully curated and such breathtaking views. We wrapped things up with a short, scenic flight from the Serengeti back to Arusha, skipping the long drive and even spotting three lion brothers on the way to the airstrip. Honestly, every part of this trip was magic. Altezza, asante sana! Tanzania, nakupenda!

Excellent and successful trek to the Roof of Africa - The 1,700+ five-star reviews are no surprise—Altezza and their team are truly exceptional. From the airport pickup to the gear check and our time on the mountain, everything was executed flawlessly. It’s also no surprise they have a 97% success rate. We were a private group consisting of my two daughters and me, and we felt incredibly safe and supported throughout the trek, especially on summit night. The twice-daily medical check-ins were reassuring, particularly for one of my daughters, who had never been on a high-altitude hike and was a bit nervous. Our lead guide, with extensive mountain medical training, kept everyone calm and comfortable. The guides and the entire team were not only professional but also kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Having completed three guided high-altitude hikes, I can confidently say that Altezza stands out as the best. There are too many individuals to thank personally, but I’d like to highlight a few: • Our two outstanding guides, Shaboni and Emanuel • Our summit porters—Peter, Hussein, and Saleem (the first two are training to become guides and have already demonstrated their capability for the role) • Adalady, Samwell, Maturo, and Aloise, who kept us well-fed and as comfortable as possible while sleeping in tents! Kilimanjaro climb - This is the best adventure travel company that I have ever traveled with Attention to Detail and taking care of us on the mountain so everyone could summit The guides and support group are amazing. Wonderful climb to Kili with Altezza - Climbing Kili is a great experience. I would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to try something challenging and breathtaking! BIG CAVEATs - 1) you need to be physically fit (you do not need to be an Ironman, but as a reference - you should be able to run 10K non-stop); 2) the whether is absolutely unpredictable and you cannot rely on any forecast; 3) you must understand what it means to stay in a tent for a few days. Overall the mountain is very good for newbies. First 5 days of the climbing are relatively easy, anyone can manage it and the main goal of these days is acclimatization. The final summit is really challenging and takes 6-7-8 hours just to get to the top. I highly recommend Altezza. They know the mountain inside out, they will take care about you giving you the support where you need and will organize the journey with extreme attention to details. This is clearly a 5-star experience that you can get on a mountain, considering the fact that fire is not allowed and it may be freezing cold and the team (porters) have to carry everything on their shoulders. Altezza has all the right equipment for the hike - very good tents and slipping bags; duffel bags; toilets; showers (if you book them), etc. Altezza make your experience unforgettable and very comfortable - great hot food (considering you are on a mountain), hot water bottles for the night sleep, mugs with names, so you do not confuse your teammates and many more. Very well organized in terms of discipline and timing. You get clear plan for the day, clear timings and great guides. Our chief guide - Bosco was the best, other guides were extremely helpful all speaking English. Honestly, in terms of organization this is not smth I expected to see here.

Every aspect of my trek with Altezza exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment when I first inquired with them up through the end of the trek, every member of their staff and crew was incredible - responsive, kind, helpful, attentive, professional, wise. Many thanks to Altezza, guides and other staff! - On 22-28 of February we (my husband and I) took the Lemosho 7-day ascent to Kilimanjaro tour. The organisation was super great and logistically excellent, ideal route, wonderful food and guides are super cool and became almost as family. We chose Altezza by recommendation of a friend, but never compared the prices of its service to any other providers. We spoke to Denis, the sales manager of the company, and he helped with all our questions and gave ton of very helpful advices. He also managed the arrival, hotels, safari and excursions, resolving everything. Later, when comparing the performance of the guides and staff on the mountain we became sure Altezza is the best company to go to Kilimanjaro. We had a personal toilet and I would advise it to everyone, as public toilets may disappoint you, especially at the end of the season. Special thanks to Polite, who was one of our guides. He is a very calm and caring person, attentive to needs and possibilities of all tourists. His correct and positive approach made my husband successfully reach the top, Uhuru peak. We also had a personal porter, Sylvester, and his help and attention impressed us a lot, especially on top of Kilimanjaro. He was always nearby, helping with all the necessary clothes, water, snacks and equipment. We definitely recommend Altezza to everyone!
