Magic in Mumbai Slum and Night Market - Incredible look at life in Mumbai. Our guide, Anthony, was informative, kind, considerate of us and the residents of the slum and provided us with a rich and rewarding experience. He was vigilant about our safety as he guided us onto the train and thru the beautiful and chaotic night markets.

Amazing and so educational for us. India and the slums is so different for USA. Max’s English is perfect - Max was great, shared a lot of information about daily living in the slum. Felt very honored to have Max as a guide. He answered all our uneducated questions.

Dharavi tour - Low key 90 minute tour to Dharavi slum with Arman (Max). I was expecting to see abject poverty, and yes, it seems poor, but I saw mostly a thriving imdustrial community, engaging in wholesale produce trade, plastic recycling, leather goods manufacturing and clay pottery. There were schools and clinics included in the narrow alleys where people are making their homes. Overall, the picture presented was.one of hope and progress.

Revealing walk through Dharavi Slum - Very interesting experience to see the Dharavi slum. It is a mix of relatively low skill, toxic industry and tightly packed living spaces. Given the narrow passageways and noise levels, the guide could speak only when we were able to gather in a small space. Interesting info was provided along with some limited insights into the lives of the inhabitants.
