Munich city hop on hop off tour bus - during our recent visit to Munich, we used the hop-on-hop off for two days. It was good and covered all important landmarks. Frequency could have been better.

Munich hop on hop off tour - The audio did not match the sites we were seeing. It seemed as if the driver was either ahead of or behind the sequence of the audio.

Nice day - The driver was very attentive and helpful as we tried to follow along with the map. The weather was fantastic which made sitting on the upper deck fun. The low points of the trip were that the narration did not always follow along with where we were going and we were often not able to figure out where we should look. The traffic was terrible which made the trip extra lengthy and created a lull in the narration.

Its your basic hop on/hop... - Its your basic hop on/hop off bus. I don't think it was necessarily worth the price- some of the stops were difficult to find.

rude drivers - We took the 48 hr ticket on May 5 and 6. The 5th we did the outer tour. One driver was very nice and helpful, and the third skipped a stop, and when we complained he said no one rang the stop bell. That was where we wanted to get off. Since it was the last stop, he drove back to start. We got off since he insisted to clear the bus. We did not continue since it was raining and would be so long. In total, we had 6 drivers in the 2 days, and 3 were very unfriendly, and 1 very nice, and 2 neutral. I cannot recommend this trip.

Hearing and seeing often do not go together! - The weather invited to sit up. On the right side there were some LINDEN FLOWER RAINS as the bus had to drive too close to the trees! Our driver hadn't set the language, so we didn't hear descriptions of the places we drove past at the beginning! Had to call first. We sometimes wondered about the places/buildings that were mentioned but we could not discover. Too bad in this day and age with inaccurate vision and hearing statements! The downtown of Munich a single construction site, every traffic light standstill, since red! We really admired the riders that they still ride the tours. Good is that for a price every 3 tours can be driven in one day! In other cities we liked the tour with Hop in Hop off by far better! Price performance not so good!

Interesting BUT - The trip gave good quick overview of Munich BUT the commentary was significantly lacking. In most cases, the descriptors were for something we already passed or were for something we did not see. Unlike many hop on hop off tours we have been on, instead of interesting facts or stories about the city, there was also much dead air.

Not great. Driver slammed... - Not great. Driver slammed on his brakes a few times throwing our personal items down the aisle. No apology given. One time was a really hard break. Not enjoyable. Audio did not match up with what we were driving by. Would not do again nor recommend.

Don’t waste your money on the Grey Line Hop On Hop Off! - Do NOT recommend this Hop on Hop off with grey line. Try a their competitors instead. We normally have great experiences with Hop on Hop offs. In Munich, hard to locate the hop on/off spots. The drivers were very unfriendly and unhelpful. They seem to hate their jobs. Only user friendly part of this experience was the lady on the recorded version of the tour. Don’t waste your money on the Grey Line Hop On Hop Off!
