- Invergordon - Guests will be warmly welcomed at the shuttle bus stop (Stop 1) at Invergordon Cruise Port, ready to embark on a delightful journey through the Scottish Highlands. A female guide, easily recognizable by her blue tartan trousers, will greet you with a sign displaying your name.
- Culloden Battlefield - The first destination is Culloden Battlefield, where visitors will explore the site of the historic battle that took place on April 16, 1746. The guide will passionately recount the events and their lasting impact on Highland culture. Guests will visit a viewpoint to see where the troops once stood, and explore the makeshift hospital cottage, grave markers, and other significant sites. There will be time to reflect on this poignant location, with restrooms available for convenience.
- Clava Cairns - Next, the tour visits Clava Cairns, an ancient burial site. Guests can admire the Bronze Age cairns and touch the standing stones while learning about their construction 4,000 years ago. The guide will discuss how the Victorians altered the landscape and invite guests to imagine life in 2000 BC, piecing together the mysteries of ancient Scottish cultures.
- Cawdor Castle - Before lunch, the tour stops at the renowned Cawdor Castle, near Nairn. This romantic 14th-century castle is linked to Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Inside, guests can explore richly furnished rooms, rare tapestries, and family heirlooms. Outside, they can wander through beautiful gardens and woodland trails, enjoying the serene Highland scenery. There will be 1.5 hours to explore the castle and grounds at leisure.
- Inverness - A local guide will lead a brief walking tour of Inverness, sharing historical sites, architecture, and hidden gems known only to locals. Guests will see the oldest pub, a site of Jacobite executions, and the newly renovated castle. There will be free time to enjoy a coffee or lunch, with recommendations provided by the guide, ensuring a relaxed experience.
- Loch Ness - The tour continues to the East Coast of Loch Ness, stopping at the picturesque Dores Beach. Here, guests can enjoy stunning views and possibly spot the famous Loch Ness Monster. The guide will share a video filmed by their mother, believed to show the creature. Visitors can meet the “Loch Ness Monster Hunter” who has resided on the beach since the early 90s. A Gaelic toast will conclude the visit before returning to Invergordon and the cruise.
