With some luck, you might witness rhinos and lions preparing for the day.
- Sheldrick Wildlife Trust - Next, head to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for a visit from 11 am to 12 pm. Walk through the center, surrounded by a rope fence, and watch as the youngest elephants eagerly approach their keepers, who are ready with large bottles of milk. For 10-15 minutes, observe the little ones enjoying their milk. Learn about their ages, rescue stories, and the challenges they faced, such as poaching, falling into wells, or human-wildlife conflicts. After feeding, the youngest elephants return to the bush, making way for the 2-3 year-olds. Some can feed themselves, while others are assisted by their keepers. Enjoy watching them interact, munch on acacia branches, and play with water and mud.
- Giraffe Centre - This center is dedicated to environmental conservation, focusing on protecting the endangered Rothschild giraffes. After visiting, you will have approximately an hour for lunch (at your own expense).
