Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve - At 8:00 AM, the operator will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel to begin the journey to Maasai Mara. The drive includes a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, offering a stunning view of the valley floor. Lunch will be a picnic en route. In the afternoon, after checking in, embark on a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve. Return to the camp for a delicious buffet dinner, followed by a restful evening.

Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara Reserve

Mara River - Spend the entire day exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. Enjoy picnic lunches in the Reserve while taking in the beauty of the Mara from the banks of the Mara River.

Depart Maasai Mara to Nakuru

Lake Nakuru National Park - After breakfast at the camp or lodge, check out by 8:00 AM and drive to Nakuru. There is an optional morning visit to a Masai Village in Maasai Mara before departure, costing USD 20 per person (cash payment at the village). This visit offers insight into the local tribe’s lifestyle and culture. Lunch will be provided at a traveler’s motel along the way. Upon arrival in Nakuru, check into your hotel and relax. There will be no game drive on this day, allowing time to unwind, swim in the pool, or stroll around the hotel.

Nakuru to Naivasha

Lake Naivasha - After an early breakfast, check out and depart by 7:00 AM for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This small park is home to magnificent, rare white rhinos, part of the Big Five, and possibly pink flamingos. The game drive lasts 3-4 hours, with game viewing on the way out. The area’s ecological diversity includes flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds, as well as Black and White Rhinoceros. Lunch will be at a traveler’s motel in Naivasha. After lunch, head to Lake Naivasha for a 1-hour boat ride, enjoying bird watching, eagle feeding, and viewing pelicans and hippos. After the boat ride, return to the dock. An optional visit to Crescent Island or a 2-hour horse ride at Sanctuary Farm is available at an extra cost.

Naivasha - Amboseli

Amboseli National Park - After an early breakfast, check out by 7:00 AM to head to Hells Gate National Park for a biking safari. Enjoy a guided tour, observing various animal species like zebras, buffalos, giraffes, and antelopes while biking. Take a guided walk in the gorge, exploring the small depressions and caves. Conclude the tour and return the bikes at the gate. If biking is not an option, explore the park on foot. Visitors can enjoy biking, rock climbing, and a natural spa known for its geothermal activity. Lunch will be at Naivasha Kifaru restaurant or Mai Mahiu hotel. Then, drive to Amboseli, arriving in the evening. Check into the lodge, swim, and relax. The game drive is scheduled for the next day.

Amboseli Full Day

Amboseli National Park - Start with an early morning game drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the full day in the park with a packed lunch, searching for popular residents like predators and their prey, including zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos, all with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its scenery, featuring snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro and open plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Observation Hill, with several bathroom breaks available during the game drives.

Amboseli - Nairobi

Nairobi - Conclude the tour with an early morning game drive, offering a high chance of spotting predators, from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Return to the hotel for breakfast, check out with all luggage, and drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of the tour.
