Specialty shops offer dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, stoves, tables, chairs, signs, lanterns, and more. Some stores also sell plastic and wax food samples, commonly used by restaurants in their display windows.

  The Tokyo Imperial Palace serves as the primary residence of the Emperor of Japan. Located in the Chiyoda district of Tokyo, it is a vast park-like area housing several buildings, including the main palace, residences of the Imperial Family, an archive, museums, and administrative offices.

Access to the Imperial Family’s residence is restricted. The public can explore the surrounding ruins.

Besides being a popular tourist attraction, Tokyo Tower functions as a broadcast antenna.
• Meiji Jingu Shrine - Meiji Shrine is a Shinto shrine in Shibuya, Tokyo, dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and Empress Shōken. The emperor’s grave is not located here but at Fushimi-momoyama, south of Kyoto.
• Takeshita Street - Harajuku (原宿) refers to the area surrounding Tokyo’s Harajuku Station, positioned between Shinjuku and Shibuya on the Yamanote Line. It is the hub of Japan’s most extreme teenage cultures and fashion styles, while also offering shopping for adults and some historical sites.

The heart of Harajuku’s teenage culture is Takeshita Dori (Takeshita Street) and its side streets, lined with trendy shops, fashion boutiques, used clothing stores, crepe stands, and fast food outlets catering to fashion-forward teens.

• Shibuya Crossing - Shibuya Crossing, also known as Shibuya Scramble Crossing, is a famous pedestrian scramble in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Located in front of the Shibuya Station Hachikō exit, it halts vehicles in all directions to allow pedestrians to flood the entire intersection.
