A peaceful walk among the tombs - Amazing attention to detail and a clear reverence for the city of New Orleans and its history. A very peaceful way to start the day, very much enjoyed hearing Liz's stories. Walk by the Luling Mansion on your way out, a very cool find very close by!

Good tales from the crypt! - Liz was a wise, detailed and fabulous tour guide…even withstanding the gale force winds that morning! Spend your tour money with an organization that’s preserving the cemeteries!

Cemeteries make for a great education - We went to St Louis #3 and our guide Dana gave us a great deal of information on the funerary practices that are so different than anywhere else. The family histories and culture of New Orleans was very interesting. I think I’m hooked on discovering some more unique cemeteries in the country.

Great Walking Tour, Full of History! - Glenn was an awesome guide! He was very knowledgeable about the cemetery. He gave us lots of history about how the graves are set up and pointed out the "famous" ones at the graveyard. We really enjoyed our tour!

Great cemetery tour with Liz. - Great tour of the cemetery and Pitot House. Our guide, Liz, had recently had a knee operation but valiantly walked us around the cemetery. She was a font of knowledge and answered our every question with aplomb. We very much enjoyed it!

OK But Pricey For What It Is - This activity was OK, however it was quite pricey for what it was. I did the Save Our Cemeteries joint visit to St Louis No3 and Pitot House. The total cost was $50, including admission to Pitot House. This meant the cemetery tour was $35 for an hour tour. I don't feel I learnt much about the cemetery's history, or the history of above-ground burial in New Orleans. It was mostly just looking at different graves and their design, not hearing the stories behind them.

Our guide was not great.... - Our guide was not great. She might have been new but perhaps more training is needed. A lot of the information we heard could have been garnered by just walking through the cemetery on our own. We didn’t see much of the cemetery either.
