Uma our tour guide was an incredible story teller! She made the group feel so safe while getting spooky.

Some of the stories were interesting and historical / relevant to what I was expecting. I think it’s a stretch to bring the story of a fairly recent death of a young man who was run over and dragged for seven miles. Then to connect this story to the female chief of New Orleans PD who ran into two pedestrians and calling her a “bad bitch” didn’t make much sense. The final story of another fairly recent murder by a group including a female prostitute was another stretch from my perspective. Old historical stories make sense for a tour, Why not mention another serious modern mass murder from Jan 1, 2025, I’m sure there was a female involved somewhere in the story

Pretty boring if I'm being completely honest. A couple of the stories were interesting, but there were only 4 of them. Our guide was very nice, but it was very hard to hear her most of the time. She needs a speaker or something so we can all get the most from the tour.

Disappointing. The description said we would visit 8 to 10. Locations and our tour only went to four. We spent 30 minutes at the first stop and the Guide gave a 30 minute history lesson. Definitely expected more from this one.

I felt there was not a lot of info about the tour to begin with, the initial meet up was very sloppy and difficult (there were at least 5 other tours happening the same night at the same starting point and it seemed like nobody knew where they were supposed to go).
I expected there to be talking about the ghost stories while we were walking, not just stopping and listening to her talk for 15 minutes, then walking again for another 10. The stories were good, but the actual tour was lacking.

I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. I’ve been through plenty of New Orleans tours over the years and I’ve never experienced one this dull. Maude gave us extremely long winded introductions/preambles, generalized stories that could have been interesting, and told us to google things several times. The only thing that was worse than the pacing was the storytelling. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

Unfortunately, I just don't think this tour was worth the money. My friend and I signed up for it hoping for a chilling experience (we enjoy horror movies) but were very disappointed. Our tour guide, Maude, was a very nice person, but her storytelling skills were lacking. It seemed like she was just rattling off a script, and she had to yell for everyone to hear her because she didn't have a microphone, which also took away from the storytelling. It was $40 for 90 minutes, which seemed like a good deal, but a good amount of time was spent walking without any stories. We made 3 stops and a total of 5-6 stories were told. I guess it was interesting to learn about some of the history, but it was not what we were hoping for. I definitely would not recommend this tour if you're looking for a spooky experience.
