Great tour! - Excellent couple fo hours spent with Robi. Interesting, engaging, informative, entertaining, memorable. Probably very different from a lot of the walking tours in New Orleans and that's a good thing.

Brilliant and transformative experience! - My boyfriend and I had the privilege of doing the morning Vodou tour with Robi last Saturday, and it was honestly our favorite part of our trip to New Orleans. You will learn about what Vodou is and is not, and may be surprised to learn a few things about yourself as well. Robi pulls no punches: be prepared to look in the mirror and see yourself and the world a lot more clearly, ready or not! I came away feeling like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders, with a renewed sense of self and my place in the world. Would absolutely take the tour again!

Great educational and informative tour - Very educational and informative tour. Robi explained the history and culture of the area and the Vodou religion in an entertaining way, and debunked many of the myths and misconceptions about Vodou and its relationship to other religions, beliefs, and societal practices both historically and in modern times. This tour makes you think and examine your beliefs and preconceived notions. I highly recommend it.

Very knowledgeable, so worth it! - Loved this tour! I don’t enjoy theatrical tours, I am more interested in factual & historical tours and this was that. Anna was amazing and very knowledgeable and you could tell she took pride in her research and tour.

High priest Robi was top tier! - Without spoiling the tour, all you need to know is that Robi is by FAR the best tour guide I ever had. They are full of wealth and knowledge, an unmatched energy and soul and overall a beautiful human. I was left in awe, wanting more, spiritually grounded and a new sense of self. Did I ever think I'd be crying at a vodou tour? Nope. Did I need it more then anything? Yes!!!!! Also, if you have or are wanting to see the movie sinners.or have seen AHS, I suggest you do a tour with Robi to clear up any confusion and misinformation that media spreads.

Real Deal - High Priest Robi - First time visitor to New Orleans, (from New Zealand), and not the last. In preparation for the trip I spent a year researching, scrolling, rummaging the net for any information I could get about the place. I found myself spending countless hours down many a rabbit warrens UNTIL...... I came across Robbie, boom! So, when we arrived in NOLA I was excited to learn that he was still taking tours. If you are looking for true blue, pull no punches, entertaining historical story telling - look no further! Robi is the real deal, a descendant from three plantations in St Francesville including the famously haunted Myrtles plantation, the Greenwood plantation and the Hollywood plantation where his family still live today - you can't get it anymore authentic than that. At the start of the tour he was able to sense some people in the group were feeling down, so he tailored the tour accordingly and we partook in a ceremony which was the icing on the cake. The tour is more than just receiving information - it's an experience. He takes your soul and senses on a journey that is heartfelt, funny, confronting and informative. We laughed, we gasped and for some, cried. He is a powerful soul who speaks the truth, a straight shooter. It was interesting to learn about the Voodoo religion and what it's not - thanks to Hollywood sensationalism etc. Experiencing Robi on this tour was a game changer, he has so much to offer. My only regret was not having enough time in NOLA to book another tour with him. Keep doing what you're doing, Robi.. thank you. *Make sure to the tip the brother some good coin.

THE BEST THING I DID IN NEW ORLEANS - I could type all day, but I’ll keep this short in hopes people actually read it. IT'S SIMPLE: If you're in New Orleans, GO ON THIS TOUR. A remarkable tour with the unforgettable High Priest Robi. With truly (no joke) encyclopedic knowledge and welcoming, engaging delivery, he paints a vivid and thorough picture of Voodou culture, its history, its practition, and its interlinking with the rich history of New Orleans. Robi radiates the positivity and reverence of one devoted to their heritage, and generously shares that energy with each of his guests. I learned more on this tour than I did from every other NOLA museum or tour combined. You’ll walk away wiser, moved, and with a fuller connection and understanding to your surroundings, and of a culture too often misrepresented and misunderstood.
