Fantastico! We had the... - Fantastico! We had the most interesting, informative, and insightful tour of Greenwich Village with the fabulous Gregorio, a native New Yorker and a 5th generation resident of the area! In addition to delectable meats, cheeses, and sweet treats, he shared delightful stories of his family and the fascinating history of Italian churches and long-standing local family businesses. What a wonderful tour!

My friends and I enjoyed the food and fun on the Greenwich food tour! - We met Greg at St. Anthony's Church on Saturday. It was a rainy day and cold but well worth it! Greg told us about the history of the church. He told us about a story about his parents and how they met. We tasted proshutoe and were on our way to a deli. Went into a shop that made homemade pasta since 1923. The ravioli was amazing. We tried lemonchello drink. Had delicious pizza that was to die for.went to a coffee house and tea. Had eaten homemade mozzarella cheese with salami. Ended our day with a fruit dessert that was incredible. We made some new friends Natalie and Gayla and Greg! Highly recommend this food tour.

Mostly personal stories, not about food - Greg was a nice man. I thought I was paying for and inviting friends to a food tour. It was mostly walking and hearing about Greg -his grandparents’ experiences as Italian immigrants, his philosophies and life antidotes. I expected it to be more focused on food. He brought 2 items for us to taste at the church where we started, then we made 4 stops for other tastings. Stops were him going into a store, then giving us a tasting portion to pass around. I checked reviews before we purchased the tour and the ratings were high. The above was our group’s experience.
