Escape the midday heat by taking a walk at sunrise. The journey begins with a breathtaking view of the rugged northern coast. The path leads through the island’s countryside, where the guide will highlight various native plants and animals, share local stories, and delve into the island’s gold history while teaching some Papiamento language and expressions. Upon reaching the northern dunes, there may be a chance to see sea turtles nesting on the island’s most unique and secluded beach. The walk continues to the renowned natural pool “Conchi,” where participants might be the first swimmers before the jeep tours arrive.
This is a gentle and relaxing walk or hike through a relatively undiscovered and secluded area. There will be ample time for swimming, snorkeling, or taking photos at the natural pool. Available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, this tour caters to small groups and offers a more affordable park pass than others.

Meeting at 6:00 am sharp to avoid the heat, will leave at 6:05 am.

Worth waking up super early for! - I was skeptical about how early this tour met in the morning but after seeing the crowds of tourists on our first days in Aruba I understood why early is better!!! We got to watch the sun come up as we hiked and so no other living creatures except for goats on the entire hike. And no UTV’s! Yari was knowledgeable about the island and terrain.
The natural pool was not a calm as I expected but I got brave and snorkeled a bit and saw some beautiful fish. The scenery along the hike was gorgeous! Yari took an amazing photo of my husband and I to remember the day. I highly recommend this tour!

Worth the early wake up time. - Really fun and relaxing. Cool to see the other side of the island away from the tourist beaches. The swim in the natural pool was so fun!

Book Now - Worth the early start! - Genesis was a great tour guide! She was friendly and made sure our group stayed together. My husband and our two friends are so happy we chose the hike over an ATV. Genesis took several
stops to share information and also take pictures for us! The natural pool itself is beautiful and we loved seeing all of the beautiful reef fish! Be sure to take some sort of water shoes, as it is a bit rocky entering. Other than that, book now! The early start is worth seeing the sun come up and having the pool all to yourself. This was one of the highlights of our trip!

Worth getting up before the sun! - To start, neither one of us are morning people. Not even a little bit. But this was absolutely worth getting up for. The guide is knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the island. The hike is just the right length, and while we’re in decent shape, it’s do-able if you aren’t. Getting to the natural pool before the crowds is so so so great. There were an astounding number of interesting fish to see (and sea urchins), and it felt so good to have a little swim and then be heading out just as the day was starting to heat up. Yari also brought fresh vanilla lemonade for us, and Dutch fruit biscuits – which was a nice treat after the swim. She also gave us some recommendations for local spots, which we did check out, and some words in Papiamento to use during our trip, which is a very nice touch. I have only two small critiques of the tour overall. One, the instructions beforehand indicated that we would leave the meeting point at 6:05am sharp, which we respected, but we waited until almost 6:30 for someone, which meant that we missed a lot of the sunrise, which was a big part of the appeal for this hike for us. I’m sure that person was grateful, but it took from the overall experience for us in a big way. Second, and much much less important, the guide told us that the north side of the island faces the Atlantic (and even corrected someone), when any map will tell you that the island is fully within the Caribbean Sea.

1000/10 experience - Genesis was an amazing guide! She knows so much about the history of Aruba and the trail that we walked/hiked. She is also very friendly. I REALLY enjoyed this experience with her and the views were AMAZING!

Amazing Sunrise Adventure - The sunrise hike was no joke; the surroundings were breathtaking! Genesis our guide was outgoing, knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. I must warn people the importance of being well rested, fed and hydrated. The Aruban sun and humidity did a serious number on me physically, and I needed to rely heavily on the other hikers to comple the activity. These warnings are simply from a personal safety perspective and in no way against the guide or the tour itself. Thank you to everyone for your support and understanding.

It's early, but Yari makes it worth it! - Yari was an amazing lead on this experience. She has awesome energy & a genuine excitement for the knowledge & experience that can't help but infuse the group!

Yari is the best - Yari was an excellent tour guide. She was kind, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Would highly recommend this tour with her. She had the best recommendations for local restaurants as well! One place she recommended, we ended up going to every day.

Wake up early and enjoy the sunrise and a private visit to the natural pool - Yari's sunrise hike to the natural pool was a great experience. It was well worth getting up early. Her instructions for arrival were clear. Take the road to the start of the hike easy and slow with a small vehicle. Our group of 7 were the only ones in the pool. The ocean was very choppy, so not a calm experience in the water, but we did see some fish. Yari was very careful about getting us in and out of the pool. I would definitely recommend this hike.
