MARRAKECH - AIT BEN HADDOU
Tizi n Tichka - At 07:30, the operator will pick you up from your accommodation, and the journey through the Atlas Mountains will begin. Along the way, various Berber villages will be passed, with stops at numerous panoramic viewpoints before reaching Tizi N Tichka, the highest road in Morocco. The drive will ascend to an altitude of 2,260 meters before descending the dry side of the Atlas Mountains to arrive at the fortified Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou.
Ait Ben Haddou - A true example of Berber earth clay architecture. The Ksar will be visited, and a local guide will lead a tour through the village, explaining the architecture, culture, tradition, and religion of this unique UNESCO heritage site.
Ouarzazate - A stop will be made to see the Kasbah of Glaoui (Taourirt) and the cinema museum before continuing the journey to Dades Gorge, passing through the Valley of Roses. Overnight accommodation will be in a local guest house in Dades Gorge.
DADES GORGES - MERZOUGA
Todgha Gorge - Todgha Gorge is an impressive canyon in the eastern section of the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy a stroll through the oasis to the mighty Todra Gorge, walk through the ruined villages, and visit a handicraft association of Berber women. The aim is to engage with the locals and learn about their incredible daily activities. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.
Merzouga Desert - The drive will continue towards the big dunes of Merzouga, arriving before sunset. Meet the camel caravan for a 40-minute camel ride to the dunes of Merzouga at sunset. The night will be spent under a Berber tent, with dinner followed by traditional music from local nomads, providing an evening under the stars before retiring to bed.
MERZOUGA - MARRAKECH
Marrakech - Early in the morning, unforgettable moments will be experienced while witnessing a magical sunrise from the top of the largest dunes of the Great Sahara. Breakfast will be served at the campsite, and the return journey will be either by camels or by 4x4. The journey back to Marrakech will pass through the Atlas Mountains, arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
Marrakech to Essaouira
Essaouira - The drive to Essaouira will commence with a pick-up at 09:00 am, arriving in Essaouira around 12:00 pm, with the rest of the day free.
Essaouira to Marrakech
Marrakech - The return drive to Marrakech will be undertaken.
