Just do it - I was able to book a 9 am tour the day before and am very glad we did. It was a very intimate and serene experience. We had a total of 7 lovely people including our GREAT guide Bryan S. in our tour. He was educational, patient, and allowed us the time we needed to take in all the beauty. If you hate crowds just as much as I do, definitely consider booking this tour. Really cool stuff.

Ryan was a fantastic guide! - This was a wonderful experience. Ryan was an amazing guide. His demo about how the canyons were created was so helpful. And the slot canyons are just too gorgeous to miss!

Beautiful intimate experience - Ryan was our tour guide and he was amazing! He told us all about the canyon and explained how it formed. He showed us how his grandmother used the local plants as an air freshener. He even played a Native American flute in the canyon and it was a beautiful experience. Our group was 5 people total and it was a nice relaxing walk through the canyon, which was great compared to the crowds and the rushed pace of the upper antelope canyon tour. Would highly recommend!

I highly recommend! - I booked an 11:30 am tour in advance and am so glad I chose Waterhole Canyon! My husband and I were the only ones in our tour group so we essentially had a private tour experience (about 1 hour 30 mins long). Our tour guide, Brian, was excellent. He would pause throughout the tour to take pictures of us in the canyon. He was also very helpful with showing us good iPhone camera angles to capture the light hitting the canyon walls. We also saw fossilized bones/mineral deposits along the way. I highly recommend choosing Waterhole Canyon Experience and will be back in the future!

Top Experiences - This was one of the best experiences of our entire trip. We went 4/7/26 and had Lydell for our tour guide. He was AWESOME! So kind, informative and fun!! We took water bottles and a back pack, wore hats and a sun shirt which I would recommend in April. Lydell gave us time to get pictures and we enjoyed listening to him tell us about Navajo culture and the history of the canyon. 10/10 recommend this experience!!

Awesome outdoor experience - This was a truly great tour. The group was small and intimate and the setting was amazing. There were a few tricky spots but Shane helped us navigate everything so well. He did an amazing job and took great photos for everyone in the really special spots. Thank you Shane for sharing your culture and experience!

Best tour around! - Lydell was an awesome tour guide. He took amazing photos, answered all of my kids questions, and taught us about the canyon, the land, and tribal history. We did the one mile tour and it was perfect for our family. We highly recommend this tour!! My kids enjoyed this more than the Grand Canyon, and we owe that completely to Lydell! Thank you for the wonderful tour.

Unique tunnel of rock colors - Exceptional tour of the Canyon by Lydell. He has extensive knowledge of the area and canyon. He took the time to take photos of everyone while educating us on how to capture the canyon and its colors.
