The trails are impeccably maintained and stunningly beautiful! They lead into the lower foothills of Red Mountain, which is part of the Chugiak Range. Wildlife sightings on the trail may include eagles, porcupines, and moose.

Best Trail Ride in Alaska - From the perspective of a local… the Sunderland Ranch is the best there is. They are exceptional and my favorite trail ride I have been on in Alaska. Drew was a fantastic guide, the mountains were beautiful and the trail explores a hidden piece of Alaska you wouldn’t experience otherwise. If you’re considering a trail ride, book it! If you’re comparing different outfitters, choose this one!
