- Shakespeare and Company Bookstore - This bookstore has become a literary landmark. Housed in a medieval building with wooden beams and plaster walls, it boasts shelves filled with literature from all eras. Discover its intriguing history and enjoy free time to explore inside, where you might even meet some authors who stay overnight in the store!

- Eglise Saint-Sulpice - Nearly the largest church in Paris, Saint Sulpice is just shy of surpassing Notre Dame Cathedral in height. This church has a remarkable history, with mismatched towers and a connection to Dan Brown’s “The Da Vinci Code.” Explore its grandeur firsthand.
- Pantheon - Despite its size, the Pantheon remains a hidden treasure, often overlooked by international visitors. It serves as the final resting place for notable French figures such as scientists Pierre and Marie Curie, authors Alexandre Dumas and Victor Hugo, and dancer/activist Josephine Baker.

In France, shops must close one day a week, and in Le Marais, they choose Saturday.
- Memorial De La Shoah - This memorial wall honors over 3,900 non-Jewish French individuals who risked, and sometimes sacrificed, their lives to save French Jews during WWII. It’s a poignant stop, essential for understanding the predominantly Jewish culture of Le Marais.

The buildings house elite art shops and a luxury hotel, while the grassy center is a popular spot for locals to picnic and children to play in the fountains.
- Wall of Philip II Augustus - King Philippe August of France constructed a massive stone wall around Paris in the 1100s to protect it from attacks. Learn about his unusual relationship with England’s King Richard the Lionheart and why the wall was built. Visit the largest and best-preserved section of the wall today.

Secret Paris guided bike tour with Thibault - My husband and I joined Thibault on a beautiful sunny Sunday morning for the Secret Paris guided bike tour. As it was just us on the tour, we could take our time, ask many questions and linger longer in places we loved. Thibault was very knowledgeable, accommodating and great company. We are experienced cyclists and do a lot of bike touring on our own, but we really enjoyed this guided tour. Would definitely recommend!

Fun bike ride around... - Fun bike ride around Paris, focused on smaller sites and neighborhood pockets, making it feel more of a Parisian experience. Our tour guide was great, even arranging care for an elderly visitor who took a spill pre-bike ride! A true professional

Best way to start your Paris visit! - Definitely recommended - we took this tour as the first thing to do in Paris, and we are very glad that we did. It was great to cycle around the nice neighborhood of Latin area, we very much enjoyed the atmosphere as well as small secret knowledges which otherwise we would have never known. Our guide, Gigi was very funny and very french - which made the tour even more fun! 4 hours with lunch break went by very fast and we enjoyed every minute of it. I highly recommend this bike tour :)

Make sure you know how to ride a bike - 3/17/2026 I was trying out my bike just before the tour in the parking garage & fell off and hit my elbow hard on the concrete floor. I decided that I could not do the tour(my fault for overestimating my ability to ride a bike. Michael, our guide, quickly hailed a taxi for me and my husband to return to our Hotel. We were both very disappointed that we were not able to take the tour. I’m sure it would have been lots of fun.

Michel is a wonderful guide! - Cycling around Paris is a sweet way to see the city because of the mixed time moving around and getting exercise, interspersed with some time listening to a tour guide. This route includes so many lovely hidden treasures, I'm grateful we did it. Michel does such a wonderful job, that we signed up the next day to tour the monuments of Paris and once again, he goes above and beyond to engage us all and express that he truly cares about giving a great tour experience.
