Culinary Backstreet Tours are always the way to go - Whenever I'm in a town with a Culinary Backstreets tour, I try to book it. This was no different. Truly got to see different neighborhoods and each stop was a treat. Susan was a wonderful tour guide and she cultivated a fun, open, and engaging atmosphere on the tour.

We ate way too much 😆 - Lucia was a terrific guide - enthusiastic, knowledgable and fun. Great combo of the traditional and unexpected with a pace that suited us.

Beyond full of food and fun - Allison and the team behind ‘Belleville Bound: Paris, Beyond the Baguette’ connected us with a Paris that we would have never found on our own without blind luck and hours of research. And we still would have missed out on the knowledge and experience Allison brought as our guide. If you want to step away from the heavy tourist traffic and cafe culture you should experience this tour. What a beautiful walk through Belleville, it ranks as one of my best food tours among the many I have done. Culinary Backstreets continues to deliver by connecting you with wonderful guides and they will always be apart of my trips whenever their experiences overlap with my travels.

Exceptional tour exploring the cultural communities influenced by and influencing Paris. - Fantastic tour! I loved the complexities of the theme looking at culture, immigrant communities and history. The food was wonderful and our guide - Susan - was fantastic. I also found our group to be like minded adventurous world travelers. I’ve recommended the tour already a few times and will continue to do so. Thank you for a lovely day!

Paris, far from the usual clichés. - Culinary tours feature a selection of delicious places. Vietnamese coffee, Algerian pastries, Singaporean restaurants, and Parisian patisseries. A multiethnic, authentic Paris, far from the usual clichés.

Unique Culinary Tour in Paris - This was a very interesting trip to places in Paris that were unfamiliar to me. Our guide, Lucia was excellent. She appropriately paced the tour to our small group and was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. Highly recommend.

Experience the Local Good Eats in Paris - Had a fantastic time eating our way through the neighborhood with Lucia. She was a very knowledgeable guide and delightful host. It was a great way to have a view of Paris off the tourist path. Loved every minute. Still thinking about a few of the treats we experienced as well. Don’t want to give away the surprises, though. If you are looking for another window into Paris with some good eats along the way - then do book it without hesitation. This was our third Culinary Backstreets tour and we have never been disappointed.

Interesting perspective on the changing dynamics on French cuisine - Susan was phenomenal and is so very knowledgeable. The tour was fascinating and the food so interesting. Not the usual stereotypical Parisian food at all

Great tour...with a lot of walking, but worth it! - The places Susan stopped for the tour were really great! Our fave stop was the open market. We tried oysters, urchin, and different cheeses. This was by far our favorite stop and we'd suggest having a market only tour. The other stops for the perfect baguette and other ethnic tastes were really good. My mother and I took this tour when we first landed in Paris. I might suggest not doing it on your first full day if you're arriving from the US. We were tired and there was a lot of walking. I plan on doing this tour again with my adult children in the future.
