A beautiful, fun-filled day - Our family enjoyed a fantastic day of touring with our guide, Ryan. He was charismatic and fun, and offered an informative window into the history of Versailles while keeping his stories entertaining and suitable for all ages. He was even inclusive to our tween who was the only child on a tour with a dozen adults. The tour was marvelous, with beautiful scenery at every turn. The grounds of Versailles were breathtaking, as of course was the interior. We loved the ride and the picnic lunch of delicious finds from the large market in the town. The cruiser bikes were comfortable and the ride nearly flat but bikes do not have gears. The only thing we would caution is that it is a long, busy day with a lot of walking and the visit to the palace is at the end. Be sure to wear your best walking shoes, bring water and cash and fuel up for the day at lunch to keep going until 1700 or later.

Fantastic Bike Tour of Versailles! - We had an incredible experience on our bike tour of Versailles! Our guide Joris was knowledgeable, friendly, and hilarious. He shared fascinating stories and insights about the palace and grounds that brought the history to life. The pace was perfect — relaxed yet engaging — and biking through the beautiful grounds was a great way to experience the Versailles. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Versailles. It’s the perfect way to see and experience the full grounds (not just the palace) so much more than you could on foot. Thank you for an unforgettable day!

Gigi you are a great guide! - Tours from really nice French people! Gigi you are the man. He entertained my teens, and was super easy to follow on the bikes. My daughter isn’t the best in a bike special needs and all and she did fine.

Aug 1 Excellent Day & Guide - Thoughtful directions before meeting our group and enough time to grab Starbucks coffee and food. Our guide was Michael Angelo was the best guide who was patient with all 8 members of our group. He provided interesting history about the monarchy and gave plenty of time for visiting the 3 sites. He also proved to be a good photographer & extremely knowledgeable, gave great recommendations in the food market, plus spoke 4 languages including English for all in our group. We would highly recommend this tour but know it is an all day affair.

Our guide Joris was one-of-a-kind -- a truly brilliant and engaging storyteller! - The tour was well-done! We loved the storytelling and history provided by our tour guide Joris. He was enthusiastic, friendly, and took great care of us. Truly one-of-a-kind. We would do another tour with him any day of the week. In fact, we've already told friends who are coming to Paris later this year to book this tour and request Joris as a guide.

Great way to experience Versailles - We had a fantastic day with Irving as our guide. The tour was very well structured with plenty of time to explore at each stop. Versailles farmer's market was a great start to find out goodies for lunch. We also picked up a half bottle of wine for our picnic as Irving let us know he carried a bottle opener and cups should we wish to indulge! It was so good to see the less touristed parts of Versailles. Marie Antoinette's hamlet was just gorgeous! Leaving Versailles palace until the end is great as the crowds were far less and you could spend as much or as little time as you liked exploring the rooms. The biking was super easy paced and flat - easy riding! There were a couple of young kids on our tour and they had a great time - it really does appeal to all ages. Thank you so much to the lovely young man from the tour company who helped us get into the tour despite an issue created by an oversight on our part. We're extremely grateful and wish you excellent karma.

The Best Way to See Versailles—Especially with Teens! - This is hands-down the best way to experience Versailles! I went with my wife and our two teenage sons (17 and 15), and they absolutely loved it. Our guide, Michael, was fantastic—engaging, informative, and even offered to take great family photos along the way. The entire tour was perfectly paced—from taking the metro, to exploring the local market, to riding bikes around the expansive palace grounds, enjoying a lovely picnic, and finally visiting the palace itself, including the breathtaking Hall of Mirrors. One of the highlights was visiting Marie Antoinette’s charming hamlet—it felt like stepping into a storybook. Versailles is massive and would’ve been exhausting to explore on foot, so the bike tour was a game-changer. Thank you, Michael, for making this such a memorable experience for our family!

Irving! - My wife and I had a fantastic day! From starting in the farmers market to walking around the charming little city of Versailles to picnicking along the bike tour and finally visiting the palace, the entire time was great. Irving, our guide, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. He was less so of a tour guide and more of a laid back travel companion, pausing to have really engaging conversations along the way. We still look back and have a laugh at some of the bizarre info we learned from him. Very well paced day and definitely a memorable one from our trip. Strongly recommend this activity.

Perfect day at a palace - My partner and I loved biking around Versailles. We were lucky to have gorgeous weather and sunny skies. Our tour guide, Arnaud, was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. The grounds are so delightful! The bike riding takes a moderate amount of skill- there were two small hills and a bit of traffic to contend with, but Arnaud made sure we were all safe, and we took many breaks while he told us about the history. He gave great recommendations for food at the Versailles farmers market, and our picnic was delicious. This is a wonderful tour!
