- Patardzeuli - It takes approximately 40-50 minutes to reach the first stop from the center of Tbilisi. - Patardzeuli - It takes approximately 40-50 minutes to reach the first stop from the center of Tbilisi. The journey leads to the Kakhetian Tradition Winery in Patardzeuli, where guests can enjoy a tasting of five wine varieties and excellent brandy. Along the way, insights about the eastern part of Tbilisi, various Georgian regions, neighboring countries of the Kakheti region, and winemaking specifics will be shared. Upon arrival at the winery, guests will join others and, with a local guide, explore the heart of the winery, featuring 24-ton wine tanks. Plastic cups will be provided for tasting, and wine chilled to -2 degrees will be poured directly from the tanks. After 30 minutes, guests can purchase their preferred wines at factory prices. At this point, the location is 39 km from Tbilisi’s center.
- Badiauri - With spirits high, the vineyards of Manavi, Sagarejo, and Ninotsminda will come into view. After another 30 minutes, the journey reaches the village of Badiauri, renowned for its cheese and Georgian tone bread. Here, guests can taste Georgian cheese and observe the tone bread-making process. Optionally, a rustic salad of tomatoes and cucumbers with authentic Kakheti unfiltered oil, wine, tkemali, and barbecue can be ordered for an additional fee.
- Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino - The route continues along the path of St. Nino, who brought Christianity to the east of the country in the 4th century. After 30 minutes of travel, guests will learn about various historical and religious figures linked to Kakheti. A photo stop offers breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley, the city of Sighnaghi, and part of the Caucasian ridge. After a 2 km drive, a 40-minute visit to the Bodbe nunnery, where St. Nino is buried, allows guests to enter the church, enjoy the Alazani Valley views, and explore this serene location.
- Signagi - Adventure enthusiasts can enjoy ziplining or paragliding with an instructor at the entrance to Sighnagi.
The tour of the city of love, Signagi, includes viewing platforms, the church of St. George, and optionally, a visit to the museum, the Kakheti peasant courtyard with a winery, and the Signagi fortress wall, taking about 40 minutes. Afterwards, guests can stroll and dine at several recommended restaurants offering Georgian and European cuisine.
- Tbilisi - The return to Tbilisi follows the same route, taking 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours, during which guests will enjoy vibrant Georgian music and learn more about Georgia.
The excursion concludes at the guests’ place of residence.
