• Jimmy Jaguar Travel - Day 1

Airport or Hotel Reception

Departure from the hotel is scheduled for around 8:30 am. The journey begins with a hike to the camp, allowing exploration of the enchanting jungle until reaching the camp situated on the Yarapa River, within a protected communal reserve.

Following lunch, the first excursion commences to observe river dolphins. The Amazon offers the chance to see two species of river dolphins: the pink and the gray.

After dinner, a night excursion in the jungle is planned to discover nocturnal creatures such as snakes, frogs, spiders, tarantulas, giant frogs, and other species.

• Jimmy Jaguar Travel - Day 2

The day starts with an early excursion around 5 am, providing the opportunity to enjoy a stunning sunrise and observe colorful birds and various monkey species in their natural environment.

Subsequently, a walk through the jungle is planned. Walking in the primary forest not only allows wildlife observation but also offers insights from the guide about numerous medicinal plants. Additionally, basic jungle survival skills, such as finding food and water or building shelter, will be taught.

In the afternoon, an excursion and jungle walk are scheduled to search for sloth bears, macaws (Aras), different monkey species, and more. The journey includes passing by two beautiful lakes. Throughout all excursions, participants will be surrounded by incredible nature, including trees and aquatic plants.

In the evening, a night boat excursion is planned to search for alligators. With some luck, jaguars might be spotted on the riverbank in the wild. The jungle is truly amazing.

• Jimmy Jaguar Travel - Day 3

In the morning, there is an opportunity to observe bird species that are exclusive to the jungle and distant from any native community.

A walk around a lagoon is planned to search for tracks or the physical presence of animals such as jaguars, sajinos (jungle pigs), capybaras, and others.

A walk to encounter one of the tree species considered giants in the Amazon, reaching over 65 meters tall, is also included.

A night excursion is planned to search for night monkeys and possibly small cats within the jungle.

• Jimmy Jaguar Travel - Day 4

After breakfast, a visit to a lake is planned, where the famous giant water lilies can be found.

As the final highlight of the 4-day tour, there is an opportunity to fish for piranhas, the most dangerous fish in the Amazon River. If successful, there is a chance to taste it for lunch.

Following lunch, the return to Iquitos is scheduled for 5 pm.
