Breathtaking landscapes - Very nice experience, breathtaking scenery, a Garden of Eden where no one imagines it and very good explanations by Cloe and Cole. We loved the Rim Walk. Be careful, it’s a bit of a physical activity...

Greates hike I ever did! (Kings Canyon Rim Walk) Keep this paradise clean! - Greates hike I ever did! (Kings Canyon Rim Walk) Unbelivable landscape! Wonderful "Garden Eden"! (Certain) sporty fitness (higly) recommended! Start early in the morning, you will walk 90% under the strong Australian sun! Take minimum 2 litres of water per person with you!!! Put before (and during the walk) sun cream factor 50! Keep 2 meters distance from the cliffs (wind gusts can be within a second very strong. It's not worth to fall over the cliffs and to die for 100% for a special nice Instagram-picture! Good/stable walking shoes (higly) recommended. Guide + driver will tell you so many very interesting things and stories! They are great! (Will be a long day but you can sleep in the bus during the transport) KEEP THIS PARADISE CLEAN!!

Unforgettable trip - Unforgettable trip to the outback. We were extremely lucky to walk along the creek running through the canyon. Spectacular views from the helicopter scenic flight. We had lovely lunch at the Kings valley resort. Our friendly gaurds provided lots of facts about history of the country side and indigenous background. On the way back,we had an opportunity to see the salt lakes and Mount Conner. It was highly enjoyable experience for both of us.

Great tour, but hard hike - Loved the tour. Great informative guides. Wished they would have mentioned in requirements that you can buy the 3 L of water needed for rim walk at gas station near breakfast buffet place instead of packing a 3 L bottle all the way from the United States...they sell water in 1.5 L bottles. Wasn't aware of this as it would have saved room in my carry on bag. Definitely be prepared for the 500 plus steps to the top.

Amazing experience and stunning views - I had an amazing experience doing this Kings Canyon Rim Walk. It's my first ever hike up a mountain. I wasn't sure if I wanted to climb this canyon as I am 70yo, have osteoarthritis and a back operation years ago. With friends' encouragement ( they did it a while ago) and hubby's help, I decided to climb. There was another couple in their 70s who climbed too. As all the reviews said, the first 500 steps is the hardest, but I kept going and I also think the rim walk itself is not that easy too. But, I did it and I am so glad I did. The views are stunning, spectacular and 'out of this world'. It's the most amazing and memorable tour I've had and I have been to many. My only complaint is that we were not given much time to see or enjoy the amazing views. I would have love to spend extra 10 minutes at each of the lookouts. All in all I must said it is the best experience I've had. The weather was great for us as it was low 20s Celsius. I think if it is in the 30s it would be harder . The driver Col and tour guide Chloe, from AAT are amazing.

Great whole-day hike even in summer heat - A great hike with knowledgeable guides along the way. Our guide, Glen, knew the history, the story around the place, the geology behind it a well - it was a real pleasure to be accompanied by such a knowledgeable guide. As for the tour in general, you need to be ready at 4am, and by 9am you start the hike. The hike itself is level 4, a bit challenging but any fit person would be able to do that. The main problem is the heat - in our case it was about 40 C, and there is not much shade along the way, so be prepared for that. Unfortunately, in that weather, the air conditioner in the bus wasn’t working well, so I would generally recommend to make this hike not in summer as we did.
