A whirlwind tour of all the major sites. - Excellent tour hitting all the main sites, Sam is a fantastic guide who is very knowledgeable, good English and a sense of humor. Would recommend this tour.

Great tour with great guide - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
As a solo traveler, taking a day tour of Phnom Penh with Makara was one of the best decisions I made on my trip. From the start, Makara made me feel completely at ease with his warm, friendly demeanor. He was incredibly knowledgeable and brought each stop to life with stories, historical context, and personal insights that made the experience truly meaningful.
We visited key sites like the Royal Palace, the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, and local markets — and at every location, Makara offered thoughtful commentary that deepened my understanding of Cambodia’s history and culture. What impressed me most was his ability to balance sensitivity with honesty when discussing the country’s difficult past, all while staying engaging and respectful.
Traveling alone, I really appreciated how attentive and personable Makara was — it felt more like spending the day with a passionate local friend than being on a guided tour. He was also flexible and happy to tailor the day based on my interests.
If you’re traveling solo and want an insightful, welcoming, and enriching experience in Phnom Penh, I can’t recommend Makara highly enough. This tour was a highlight of my journey, and one I won’t forget.

Great your guide and experience de for a day trip - What a fantastic organized tour. Of course parts of the tour very sobering and morbid. Silong was an amazing tour guide, very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommended if your looking for a private tour with a guide and driver

Phnom Penh 1 Day Tour - Excellent - Excellent full day (8.5 hours) tour by our guide Silong. I was particularly interested in the Cambodian genocide and Silong was very knowledgeable. The visits to the killing field and S21 prison were for me, particularly impactful. The minivan was great, air conditioned, door to door, very convenient, with lots of cold water and cold towels provided by the driver at each stop. All museum entries and details handled by Silong. We made about eight visits total. We also did some shopping and had a super brunch meal at a nice restaurant (we paid, not included in the tour fee). Highly recommended.

One long day in Phnom Penh - Mr. SiLong was an excellent Tour Guide and his driver was safe punctual and always made sure we had cool water and freezing towels upon our return after each stop. He was extremely knowledgeable in the tumultuous history of Cambodia particularly the four years of Cammie rouge Ruhl. I was able to ask any question that came to mine and he always had good answers and explanations. He also arranged a visit to a Buddhist temple and arrange for us to be able to pray together with the Buddhist monk that was present. Overall, I would highly recommend him as a Tour Guide.
